Hey Steve! That is awesome! I wish that I felt free to reveal my name , pic, and locale! I wish everyone could. I am eaten up with curiosity wondering if I know anyone on here personally. But I of course understand why that cannot be so at this point! I gave up school too when I was young. My parents felt the need to remove me from the outside world. I am now in college, and while it is stressful, I LOVE IT! I am so happy for you!!!!

My Family

Thanks Mary, I am making some progress at getting better. School helps a lot. Learning new things and gaining confidence in myself. I am so much better now than I used to be. But I feel such pain for my brother, who has not yet recognized just how much the maltreatment has affected his life. Not only that, but even if he did, I fear he would not know how to overcome it, and it is not something that we EVER talk about. He holds everything inside. Even from his wife. I ache for him, and all others who have had to endure child hood abuse.
I sincerely hope that Alice does not come back. I have good blood pressure, and I would like to keep it that way!

I cannot help but ask this question. Sorry if I am redundant. While Alice is spewing acidic hate all over this site, has she talked to her local elders about her involvement here? I cannot imagine that they would think that it was a good idea. Associating with known apostates is a major no-no in the Org. Kind of STANKS of hypocrisy.
By the way, my siblings and myself were physically and mentally abused for years by my father. I remember the elders meetings about it, and nothing was ever done. No privileges were ever revoked, and we continued to be abused until we were old enough to get the hell out of the household. I really don't care if Alice wants to believe me or not. I know the truth and I sleep just fine at night. I didn't leave the Org because of it, until I realized just how many innocent children had endured the same situation, if not worse.

Living a lie is hell. I did it for several years, and while I have hardships now, just like anyone, I no longer think of killing myself on a daily basis because of the misery brought on by that life. As Martha Stewart would put it, "It's a good thing."
P.S. ---- I can't stand Martha Stewart, but I couldn't think of a better way to say it.

Those scenes are not always so farfetched. I have experienced some euphoric moments in my life, and trust me, they were better than just reading about them!

Palmtree--- Ugh, woman problems. May not be able to have children because of the severity. Very tired and foggy headed all the time. Hopefully though, now that I have insurance, I will be able to get it under control! Really affects how I do in school. I do so much better when I feel better!
By the way, on the thread about the Strawman arguments, Outlaw said somethng to effect of "We have already ran Alice off because she is not like us...." I think it was Outlaw anyway,,, I should have probably checked that before I went running off at the mouth....
