Dear God,
I am writing this letter to let you know tonight my Cat died. Now I know in the grand scheme of things this is not a big deal. The life of one little creature does not seem like much, and really maybe it isnt, but I had him for almost ten years and had grown quite fond of him. He will be missed. Strangley though, as thoughts will do, I started thinking about life and how fleeting and vain it really is. And if it is vain, who's fault is it? Adams? Eves? No. I think it is your fault. I think you are the reason we suffer and live miserable lives and then die. You say you love us, but where is the love? You gave your son so that we might live? 2000 years later the only thing we have to show for it is a front row seat to this circus of misery we call life...thanks. I watched my father in law die clawing at the air with his last breath trying to hang on to life. A life he gave to you! More than five decades he spent telling people about you. You (yes you) told him he would not die before the end came and yet this man, this 6' 2" man who spent his life working hard and raising his family and trying to do all you expected of him spent his last hours lying in a bed clothed in nothing but a diaper wondering why you had not fulfilled your promise. This begs another question: How many bilions of others have died like him? How many billions more? I am begining to think this is some cosmic joke. Or maybe it's just an experiment and we are all just a bunch of ants under a magnifying glass. What do you think? You wish to clear you name, I understand. But how long do you wish to take? We were told that you had to do this so the angels would not think Satan was right. But now those same angels must be wondering what the hold up is. I mean really after 6000 years and more you have to have cleared your name by now right? Oh well enough rambling I know you are busy. I eargly await your response,

UN & Watchtower : link deleted....
by yalbmert99 inhi everyone, someone just made me notice that the pdf document on the u.n. website proving that the watchtower associated itself as ngo from 1991(demand) to 2001 has been deleted or is missing.
http://www.un.org/dpi/ngosection/pdfs/watchtower.pdf i sent an email (very short since they don't allow more than 200 characters) to the un to inquire.
i doubt that they'll respond.i suspect that the watchtower pressured the un to deleted that link.....

Maybe it was removed because the WT needed another library card and have returned to the fold.

Geez guys, isnt it obvious why we are still here? You have to do the math. God doesnt want anyone destroyed so he is allowing this system to go on so the 250,00 or so who come in every year can be saved...nevermind the 70 million who are born each year who have to die.

Christianity, on it's death bed
by free2beme inas i grow older, and perhaps more controled by satan.
;) there is something i can not help but conclude.
it is the fact that christianity only exist, because it was born in a time in which there was no media, communications, and possible chance of being proven wrong.

People hang on to religous beleifs for one reason: it means life. If religion didnt teach that there was an afterlife...that this is all there was then I dont think, generally speaking, it would exist at all. Maybe it plays on our inherint selfishness: if God wants something from us we better get something in return.

Disfellowshipped for eating FATTY FOODS, BEING FAT, BAD DIET
by free2beme inheart desease is the leading cause of deaths in this country.
bad diets are leading to an ever increasing population of diabetic and fat children and adults.
if we keep this up, more and more people will be too sick to work or live a normal life.

Because we here in America are not fat due to overeating and no exercise, we have thyroid issues therefore we cannot be DF'ed for gluttony it's not our fault. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to McDonalds.

How sad. The last link to an incredible chapter in history. I dont really care that it proves how nonsencacle the 1914 prophecy of the WT is...well maybe I do a little. But being a history student I am more sad off this lost connection with the great war.

As my journey to leave the WBTS was in its infancy I was speaking to an old friend who had always been a surrogate mom to me. I had pioneered with both her sons (one of which is now an elder, the other is gay). I was addressing some of my concerns re: the WTS. She was having difficulty convincing me I was wrong, so in the end she said, "Remember. You signed on the dotted line." I was confused what she meant, at first, until I realized she was speaking of my dedication to Jehovah/WBTS. This comment surprised me as she had twice been DF'd for biblically ridding herself of an unhappy marital union.
That comment has come back to me over the months. Is she right? Am I in breach of contract? Tonight it occurred to me that I am not. This relationship that began with my baptism was a bi-lateral covenant: I would give Jehovah and his organization the best years of my life and they would provide a spiritual paradise followed by a literal one. I would give up all the things people in their youth long to do in return for the prospect of future fulfillment. Not only have I not experienced a literal paradise, I have not experienced a spiritual one. In fact, life has been pretty sucky overall. If JW's are the happiest on earth, why did I get so depressed going to meetings and trying to live up to the perfect requirements we are beset with every day?
No, I was not the first to break this contract. I only decided to withdraw before it was too late for me.
