The book wasn't written after the 66 books of bible selected. It is verified part of the dead sea scrolls as well, it's before all the apostles letters.
Once Paul, and many of the leaders were wiped out by martyr, and the bible only in the hands of the corrupt priest, Jews scattered and broken up, it was easy to make changes.

Sorry, realized the above I have to disclose some more information for that to make sense. 1260 days are part of the first 3.5 days of a prophetic week, 1290 days are the remaining 3.5 days of a prophetic week. It reaffirms that 30 days are added at the end of 6 years.

I'll post a real good one hopefully in the next week or so. But here is another way..........without disputing the information they got, can show the date 1914 is invalid.
They used the 360 day prophetic cal to get to that. Now (don't have time to pull the scriptures), but you'll see in the bible, 1260 days, 1290 days, 390 days, etc.
We know that there is roughly 365 days per year, and every 4 years have a leap year of 1 day.
On the 360 day one, every 6 years, 30 days are added. So at the end of 6 years, 'our calendar of 365X6=2190+1(least 1 day cause the 4 years is in there=2191 days. Now 360X6=2160 (but since you add a LEAP MONTH that year) now at 2190. That's the first level of adjustment.
Now on the 1914 prophecy, they did 360X7 = 2520 years. They ADMIT in some 1950's WT that a possibility supposed to have some leap days or years, but did not do it. They didn't know about the leap month every 6 years. So who cares if the date is 607/587/ or what, who cares if the scriptures used to make that assumption are in no way related, it's still wrong, they are off by 30 years using their own logic, and the date using their own logic would be 1944.
Also, the 'original' way they got 1914 is not how it's currently used, they did the 6000 years since creation of Adam to 1874 (where do you think 1975 came from???) and Russell said after 1874 since it's 'this' generation, and a biblical generation is 40 years, 1874+40=1914. Now they said close to 1975 they were off by 100 years, and 600 years is 1975 or so, and that's how that all happened. I'm surprised they didn't readopt the 6000 years plus 40 because then that would of been 2014/2015 lol.

Question on the "El" part as well. Since the bible was not written in english, the greek/hebrew words when translated to "el" or end in "le" like apostle, do they have the same pattern in hebrew and greek? Or do apostle, elder, elect, disciple, etc not contain any similarity except in english?

Here is what I've found so far, and I am not researched enough so that it's credible but raises questions and warrants further investigation.
I do not remember but a week or two ago I had read something in the bible which caused me to research "El", and one thing of interest I found was first the "seven names of God" sometimes called "the seven" = which immediately I thought of the 7 headed wild beast with blasphemous names. This I've only seen in wiki and not researched yet.
Under "El" specifically, that "El" the name of God, and many words associated with "El" related to that as well. An ancient "cult of El". ELoihim, apostLE, discipLE, ELder, ELect.
Last night just a random thought to do a search on Saturn Satan. http://www.atlanteanconspiracy.com/2008/07/saturn-satan-and-666.html Read that whole thing, at this point I am now definitely researching this stuff. Anybody can say anything and post it online, I want to see how much of these claims are credible and think this is an interesting enough topic that some of you may want to research too. Please post anything of note you find and the source.

Obviously none of you fit what I was referring to. I'm speaking of those who say they hate God, the bloodthirsty, etc, etc, on top of not believing in him. If he is real, he's just a bloodthirsty, etc, etc. My post was just to point out, if you believe if he's real his only a bloodthirsty, etc, etc, that perhaps many of those scriptures could have been apostacy that had been inserted or edited.
Anyway, I did not assume all hate God, and have bad feelings, which is why I said to those "who hate God", not, to all athiests.

Various translations are good to investigate, but at this point, go to interlinear versions, and make sure more then just ones translated from the same scrolls. All translations are just that, 'translated', need to see the source of them to make sure.
