i firmly believe 100% of jw's are suffering from the first stage of rts and a high percentage of people who are now out are also suffering.

Some physicists believe our universe is a giant hologram
by EndofMysteries ini wasn't entirely serious on older posts that our whole universe could technically be a computer simulation and this next thing isn't claiming that but it seems to nudge it closer to that possibility.
as taken from here http://www.vox.com/2015/6/29/8847863/holographic-principle-universe.
"the idea isn't that the universe is some sort of fake simulation out of the matrix, but rather that even though we appear to live in a three-dimensional universe, it might only have two dimensions.

"The idea isn't that the universe is some sort of fake simulation out of The Matrix, but rather that even though we appear to live in a three-dimensional universe, it might only have two dimensions. It's called the holographic principle.
The thinking goes like this: Some distant two-dimensional surface contains all the data needed to fully describe our world — and much like in a hologram, this data is projected to appear in three dimensions. Like the characters on a TV screen, we live on a flat surface that happens to look like it has depth.
It might sound absurd. But if when physicists assume it's true in their calculations, all sorts of big physics problems — such as the nature of black holes and the reconciling of gravity and quantum mechanics — become much simpler to solve. In short, the laws of physics seem to make more sense when written in two dimensions than in three.
There is more but that's a highlight of the article.

Why are people burning their city to the ground in Baltimore? How doe Looting and Mob Violence Help?
by PokerPlayerPhil init's hard enough for businesses to enter these areas the government once had to offer up tax breaks to service them.
in watts, california it took decades for city residents to get a grocery store after the thugs burned their businesses to the ground.
you can see the insanity taking place, when you allow mobs and fools to burn building down nothing good comes from it.

Has anybody been following Baltimore lately? Since the police have backed off, the murder rate has EXPLODED, http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/05/30/murder-capital-baltimores-homicide-explosion-in-wake-freddie-gray-case-dwarfs/
Over 135 murders so far in Baltimore, even kids getting killed by other blacks, and no protests or "black lives matter" protests. But if a single black thug dies by a white cop during resisting arrest, then burn the city down and claim blacks are being killed by the hundreds. They are being killed by the hundreds and thousands by their own people.
Why isn't Obama or Sharpton chiming in on this?
Even in my area killings where that community live are on the rise. Shootings at kids parties with tons of witnesses but nobody saw nothing.
In my neighborhood we have neighborhood watches, if something happens, people will talk. We don't accept criminal activity and won't let ourselves be victims.
What is the solution when these other communities idolize criminal behavior, keep their mouth shut when their friends and neighbors get killed, robbed, etc, bully and harass their own if they choose to be police officers, have no problem when their own are killing them but then they attack, riot, plunder if a 'white' officer hurts or kills a resisting criminal?
It's not PC to say what the real solutions would be but if it really starts spreading away from the confines of those communities, there will eventually be a shift away from PC because once those problems start hitting good law abiding citizens homes their tolerance for being PC will quickly fade away.

'Conti' Court decision secures Watchtower's Policy of confidentiality
by telemetry11 inthe court on the rule of confidentiality of penitential communications and evidentiary privilege--.. decision reads:.
"the law generally protects the confidentiality of communications with clergy like those of kendrick to the elders here.".
"if the person has a constitutional right to independence in making religious choices, the recognition of an evidentiary privilege is an apt means of protecting that autonomy.

Maybe somebody on the case should bring out how the WT teaches that it's 'safe' in their KH's and they have divine protection from bad people, molesters, etc.
WT can't have it's cake and eat it too. If they want to claim they have no obligation to warn people of molesters, etc, then they can't claim that it's members are safe and there is protection within it's confines. They need to start publishing and proclaiming that people inside can and have been just as bad as outsiders etc.

June JW Broadcast - Jehovah's & Jesus' names Are Interchangeable!
by The Searcher inmr. geoffrey jackson hosts this month's propaganda-fest, and uses a favourite catchphrase of the org - "by extension" - to get out of the dead-end which the scriptwriters had put him in.
he quotes matthew 10:22 - "and you will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my [jesus'] name; but he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.".
mr. jackson knows only too well that probably no j.w.

I could have done a better job then Jackson on that one. With his agenda he could have said instead of "by extension Jehovah" that the name Jesus in hebrew Yehoshua means Jehovah Saves. (Yahweh Saves, but I'm talking JW lingo. -

Pretend you were still a JW, would you have secretly wanted hospitals to force a loved on to have a blood transfusion?
by EndofMysteries ini'm curious, even though jws must fight and resist, how many secretly hope that their loved one is forced a blood transfusion so they can live and their conscious is cleared of having done everything possible to not have one?
or you have felt guilty and upset about it no matter what?

If people share with news stories more may pick it up.
Anyway the 'comments' on the above link has a lot of jw apologists, for those who like to set the facts straight from them.

Could you ever really relax in a self-driving car?
by Simon ini love science and technology and we are living in a golden age right now.
the world has changed in so many incredible ways just in the time i've been alive.. my first car was a vauxhall viva.
it was brilliant because it was my first car and represented freedom.

How much sediment would have been moved in Noah's flood?
by Zoos ini flew over this crate yesterday on my return home from las vegas.. .
they say this crater was created by an asteroid about 50,000 years ago.
then about 6000 years ago, presumably, god wiped out all life on earth with a global flood.. how much sediment would have been moved around during that flood.

Check out the Epic of Gilgamesh sometime. Babylon's side of the story for the great flood and many similarities and intersections with the Hebrew side. -

I have no doubt there was a flood event, but taking into account the biblical side of it, the entire physical Earth wouldn't be needed only where humans had lived.
Having travel to Israel, Jordan, etc, I learned some things and had some observations. Israel is the lowest point in the world, the area around the dead sea, and Jerusalem is 1371 feet BELOW sea level. When I was in Jordan, the Wadi Rum desert there is a water line on the tops of all the rock/mountain like formations showing the area had been deep under water at some point in time. It's very likely if humans originated in that general area of the world that it would be completely flooded without it everything. To all human inhabited Earth, all areas humans lived could have been flooded while areas without humans were not.
Recent evidence shows most of the water on Earth did not originate here, came after Earth's formation. Also read hypothesis about Earth potentially having had a ice ring similar to Saturn, all of this could support the flood gates of heaven opening up. (If aside from some event causing localized flooding, if there used to be a lot more dry land and those areas are under sea now).
