Ferguson Shooting (Is my thinking on this all wrong.......)
by out4good3 ini think everyone here can agree that walking down the street, even in the middle of the street, is not cause for having a clip emptied in your ass......... i can understand how the black community would be outraged by the injustice of seeing another black man dead in the street at the hands of the police under mysterious circumstances....... i hope that i'm not succumbing to the attempts to assinate the already well impuned character of the dead man...... however.
i can't help but think that this could all have been avoided by exercising the proper discretion with fore-knowledge of the disadvantages people of color have when they are dealing with law enforcement in the united states.
it is not as if this disadvantage has only since recently came to light.

WT recent public news release showing emergency support for MEMBERS only.....
by EndofMysteries inunder news alerts on the borg website, i noticed 2 stories, 1 about the bus crash in honduras, and it's interesting that it seems that non jw agencies have helped out when you see this statement...."we appreciate the outpouring of support from the community and the various agencies that have come to the aid of those affected by this tragedy.
so on this instance, it seems the wt welcomes aid from outside sources.
now the 2nd story, is about the hurricane in mexico, and we have this statement...."in the aftermath of hurricane odile, which hit the coast of baja california sur on monday, september 15, 2014, jehovahs witnesses from the surrounding area provided food, water, and medicine to their members affected by the storm.

(so only JW's got help, nobody else?)
Is not the WT such a generous and giving back charity to the community? They love help from outside sources and they won't ever help their own members unless a disaster strikes, then it's ONLY their own members.

Actually I would LOVE to see the WT publish 'untrue rumors', does there even exist an untrue rumor about them? All the true facts are so powerful, I can't think of a lie that could possibly do more damage.

Untrue rumors? Such as the NGA status with the United Nations? The pedo lawsuits? Rutherford's mansion? Rutherford's 1925 prophecies and every WT book, article, etc older than 6 months?

Skeeter- why don't you just say, "I don't have faith in the governing body and they are NOT the faithful slave", then HE will be putting a restraining order on you, then he would be throwing away his phone and computer for fear demons might possess it because they were used to message you, etc.etc.

If you don't know, KM's are now online too.
Under the heading, "I cannot find him at home again!" it mentions how a text message or email is to be counted as a return visit.
No more having to do the work of getting dressed, meeting for service, then getting to that house to get an RV, you can now send a text message in your PJ's while watching tv at home and still get your time in!
Seems to me they are doing less and less, so they are making the requirements easier and easier so they can show the fake growth and numbers instead of declines.

Do any Bethel/WT ip addresses visit here often?
by EndofMysteries inwebsite owners can get reports of ip addresses that visit their website.
it would be funny to find out if this site gets regular visits from wt locations.

Thanks for that info Richard, that is very interesting. If it's still the same today, then hypothetically, any traffic from WT networks would be those higher ups who would have firewall bypass access. Seems just regular bethelites could only access then from their own smartphones as long as the 3g or 4g networks weren't controlled by WT.
That being said, if WT is blocking ex jw websites, then I wouldn't be surprised if one day they release a WT web browser or VPN to 'protect' the R@F from 'dangerous' websites when they use the internet.

You can do reverse IP address lookups. If the person is a basic roadrunner subscriber and it's a dynamic IP address, then it will go to the hub of that IP address, usually within the general area of where they are located. If they have a static IP address or a corporation, usually it's a set IP address and the trace will take you to the property address.
If you are ever curious who spam, scam emails come from, copy the 'originating' IP address and pop it in a free online tracker. If you do that to one of those, "I inherited 300 million and want to deposit 10 million into your account" emails, then it's probably going to show you an address from nigeria.

I was ready to vote today but I found out I had to be registered 30 days in advance, I missed the mark by 4 days.
Anyway, even though I selected a party, I was on quite a few votes going to vote for other parties.
Here is why, I was looking up the websites of each candidate. Some of the candidates under 'issues' had detailed and specific stances they took and things they were going to pursue. Some of the candidates were super vague, for example for schooling, "It's important for kids to get good schooling and for teachers to have every resource they need." For healthcare, "Common sense should be used by the state in healthcare options. Everybody should be able to choose their doctors."
No wonder there are so many problems in this government. I guess if I was able to be the primary candidate for a state Democratic or Republic, I would get most of the votes of that party if I just say, "Everybody should be able to be happy, schools should be able to teach children, roads should be safe to drive on, the world should be perfect, etc. I'm not going to say what I plan to do to make any of these things happen but I'm just going to say that things should be nice, so vote for me!"
It must work or candidates wouldn't be so vague. If I voted for any of those people, it would merely have been, "o you're Republican/Democrat,etc, I don't care what you do or don't do, just because of your party I'm voting for you!"
Since I've never voted though, I was wondering do most stick to their party or do many look at the people and vote out of their party if they don't like their party candidate?

What would the point be? It's mostly a curiosity. But what could it mean? I find it funny that some topics and things discussed here end up in WT's within a year.
Anyway if there are visitors from WT property, then it means either faders who are in Bethel or people in the borg monitor this to know what the ex JW community is thinking or reacting or even use it to plan their rebuttals and other articles.
