Religious Christendom's Heavy Blood Guilt!
by wannabe inreligious christendom's heavy blood guilt!.
to pair the word hate with christian, would really be foriegn to the hearer of that combination of words, wouldn't it?
that would certainly be nothing the founder of christianity would be guilty of, would it?

(all the hours you've spent, vs just my own, having many combined may bring up a few good things for us all from everyones answers ).

I'm asking for mutual benefit, in my quest for the truth (still a work in progress), some of the things I've run into you may want to think about, and in your answers will show if anything I haven't thought of or checked into yet, as well as all readying this.... (all the hours you've spent, vs just my own, having many combined may bring up a few good things for us all from everyones answers )
I'll post a few personal notes at the start of each one, as my input for you to consider, then the questions for you at the end.
A. If you believe in the bible AND God - (I do, the bible currently in a complicated way..) - My first inclination when on path of leaving was to spread how we are being lied to, etc, and to DA myself. Then I remembered also the scriptures about cautious as serpents, innocent as doves. Without knowin what I 'should' be doing and fully convinced, not to get too hasty. I quickly saw it seems no religion or group has it fully right. Just based on the bible at 'face value', JWs doing preaching, some more focused on charity, etc. At the very least, they are doing some good, are they related to the congregations in Revelation? About faith, most trust the governing body, in their minds they are putting faith that God will direct them to do what his will is. Does God view that as putting faith in THEM, or in HIM? I have some very old relatives, if one was a JW most of their life, only short time left, if in their mind they did the right thing and have faith, would be showing them it's not the truth and crashing their faith, without any answers, would God want that, would he want me to try to get them to trust in him directly, or would I be guilty of stumbling them and ruining their faith? How did you, yourself, come to decide what to do, and is your conscious at ease with it?
B. If you believe in God, but not the bible - You've probably run into what I've been reading and seeing at some point. What look like contradictions or things which don't make sense. The contradictions, I've found in reading interlinear bibles and such, that many cases of what appear the bible is talking about God, or the Almighty, 'could' be mistaken. In the interlinear translated to English, then words arranged, if the translators understanding was incorrect, that could have passed on as well. AND/OR the teachings have been incorrect or corrupted. For example, if you dismiss it because the God in old testament vs in new testament seems to be completely different......(I've been trying to understand this for quite some time now. There IS something not properly understood or well known about that. For example, Israel is Jehovah's 'interitance' (Is that statement with our understanding of Jehovah possible? How can he inherit anything?), Jesus statement about being Davids son or of Judah, (He said that "David called him my lord, how can he be his son then?"), he said they are VERY MUCH MISTAKEN, and about the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is a God of the living, not the dead. He also said it was not his time yet (when didn't drink wine at the wedding). A lot I can post.....either translation errors or even understanding. All scriptures we think are talking about God, as we think, may have been talking about a few different spirit creatures. There is also the books which were not cannonized. (My advice, make sure you were thorough before final decision) My question, is if you don't believe in the bible, why? What was the fool proof evidence for you? Did you research any other books or try to find what could be truth from God in your eyes?
C. Atheist - I can understand those loosing faith in bible, but everything in existance, I can't believe was random. I see far too much evidence of intelligent design, and how all supposedly randomness, with intelligent thinking ability, we as humans can't duplicate. If life happened on its own, why can't we create it ourselves. My question, is your path from being a JW, to not believe in bible, then not even in God. What made your belief firm in this?

Was it EX JW literature / WT's or the BIBLE which woke you up? Post scriptures if any....
by EndofMysteries ini considered myself immune to ex jw stuff.
no amount of old watchtowers or anything would change me.
it was seeing treatment of others by elders and the bible itself, which woke me.

I considered myself immune to ex jw stuff. No amount of old watchtowers or anything would change me. It was seeing treatment of others by elders and the BIBLE itself, which woke me. THEN seeing things I read in the bible, and old literature and such, fit the pieces of the puzzle together. First it was seeing how prophetic scriptures, especially in Revelation, and the explanations did not match up nor make sense. THEN seeing in Isaiah/Jeremiah, etc, prophecies about Israel into the new world, and how their shepards were misleading them (being that we are taught JW's are spiritual Israel, and looked like 'spiritual Israel' then was not in God's favor).
Here are some recent ones from some I ran into....
I was invited for a dinner with a group, mostly with ones I never met. A brother there, little bit of language barrier, but somehow started mentioning how he thinks there is more understanding and knowledge which is not known, and hoping he won't be dissappointed that what we been taught is wrong. His wife said that morning when they did their bible reading, reading the whole thing, she said it appears to be something more there. We went to the scripture, it's talking about the sacred secret. Before anybody could chime in or say anything, as I was going to confirm there is more to it, the elder there jumped in and said o thats Jesus and it's a good question brother but yes it's Jesus. He obviously had no idea what he was talking about, and the brother didn't seem convinced at all. The elder who jumped in, seemed so scared of any kind of real discussion, or talking about anything.
It's a shame, can't talk about the bible, or about 95% of the scriptures the society hasn't even attempted to understand or explain. The only discussions allowed, and there after that were, 'experiences', and what they look forward to in the new world.
I mention this though, because I've seen a few already, who when doing bible reading, are starting to think there is something wrong or more to what we been told. Another recently, had read with their spouse, Revelation about the 1,000 year reign, and how they didn't see the 'other sheep' being resurrected until 'after' the thousand year reign, or those who are not of the first resurrection I should say.
Another awhile thought the end of Daniel, last chapter last verse, the differnce of days, was of note. That was what triggered my full awakening. He own his own looked in bound volumes and said there was some explanation but he didn't remember. (one of those common brush under the carpet, no idea explanations) Then went back to sleep.
If any scriptures got you to really think, post your experience on it.

What is your concept of God?
by transhuman68 ingiven that the god of the old testament & the new testament don't seem to match up, and our first impression of god may be based on our parents, and the many progressive christian religions that stress god's love and grace, we probably all have completely different ideas of who god is; if he/she does exist.
i always thought god was a strict, bad-tempered kill-joy..

The bible, if you read it in interlinear, and in context, you'll see there is a good chance our explanation of God old testament and new testament, there is a good chance is not correct.
A few small examples just to get you thinking, don't worry the answer may not be able to find or atleast not anytime soon .......
Israel is Jehovah's 'interitance' - who did he inherit it from?
Jesus said the jews are very much mistaken about their God, who is a god of the living, not the dead.
WHO are the 2 cherubs covering the ark, what do they symbolize? (compare them with the 2 witnesses in Revelation)
Who is the cherub in Ezekiel, which 'profaned' his santuaries? Killed his people? Is it Satan or something else? (not sure if Ezekiel is the one speaking of killing his own people)

JWs in Ghana disown 5-year-old son for receiving blood transfusion

so sad.
how can you even hold a 5-year-old accountable for anything, anyways?.

Thats crazy, and even goes against what JW's teach. "A man not providing for his own household is worse then a man without faith" - thought don't agree with a lot that goes on, I know that this would not be taught as acceptable, pointless to spread something that somebody who claims to be goes against their rules.

this is important for all to know, especially in the near future.
you'll see in below examples how worldwide, even warring countries this is prevelant.

Okay, so I take it, that being in the masons, least those levels, nothing of a religious nature is discussed? Such as about God, the truth of pagan and christian origins, etc?
Let me give an example........one of the groups, a very high level one, which contains even the royal family of England......... appear to believe that a lot of Christian teachings, were actually part of Asclepius. They seem to believe that Paul and/or Jesus had some involvment with it. Asclepius the god of medince and healing in ancient greece. A snake entwined staff is his rod. (think of Moses staff turning into a snake, the copper snakes they were to look at for healing if bitten by a serpent, Jesus saying that his followers could hold serpents and not get hurt or the poison would not kill, and the symbol on pharmacy is 2 snakes entwined in a staff) I think I also read something to the effect of (have to check it again), Paul was blinded, he went to that temple, and 2 snakes appear and lick his eyes and eye sight restored. Ofcoarse this type of thing raises the questions of what's going on here, and isn't Satan the serpent, etc. It's also interesting to point out, that where that temple lies, is
It's along that type of line, is anything taught to Masons, atleast the public Masons and members, or is nothing of religous and ancient history taught?
It's also interesting to point out, that location of that temple is Pergamom (which in Revelation says is the Throne of Satan)

I don't really care much about the mason symbolism in Russells stuff. I am interested because I'm seeing how it's going to be playing a major part in the last days / wild beast / etc prophecies. I did research the symbols, and I see from the Masons side, how they view them as non biast, related to the true God / Architect of the universe. They take a neutral approach to God, that one must just believe in him, and that through all religions, they lead to the same God. That's the very low level of it.
I ALSO see the opposing side. That they have many images and how they've adopted symbolism which was used in Egyptian and even occult activities, they view as not using them for that reason, just to throw people off. For example, the pyramid and all seeing eye, is supposedly symbolic of the bottom of the pyramid is all religions/faiths, and the top is the architect of the universe, that from 'many faiths, lead to the same creator'. On the occult side, and on the dollar bill, the positioning of things make invisible pentagram.
I ran into a group, which can't find any 'acknowledged' ties to Masons, but found them to be involved, and VERY heavy into archeological things, they are very heavy into research of ancient coins as well, and having done extensive research and big money behind them. They happen to also be the ones who own the federal reserve. Having stumbled upon some of their beliefs and books meant for members only, saw a very plausible scenario of how the wild beast / false prophet prophecies will play out. The scriptures they will focus on (in the same sense religions focus on a set of scriptures to prove them the truth), can be very convincing, and cause any to question what is true and not true.

If you are not able to answer, or never discussed those, are you still one and if not, why did you leave? I know a lot about them, but not much and only what I've run into online. the negative and the positive (I understand many who are, believe to be the closest to the truth.) Interesting too how the 'start' of the WT had many common beliefs.

I want to know the symbolism on them as universal. I don't think it's coincidence that Germany, Iran, USA, many countries, as well as back to ancient times, using the SAME symbols. But I specificially am interested in the symbols I stated specificially, as I see those crossing nations, cultures, opposing nations, etc.
I also know that a lot of it is based on King Solomon, from 1 Kings 7. What lead me there, but at the same time, bringing up more questions, was my research into the "Two Witnesses", the 2 Cherubs 'covering' the ark, and then Ezekiel 28, some statements Jesus made about himself as well as the Jews, the prophecies of Isaiah supposedly about Jesus, some things in the minor prophets, THEN some unpublished coded prophecies/messages I've found in Genesis. (tip of the iceberg)
To start, the eagle as well as the eagle holding arrows, why would nazi germany, Russia, USA, and more have coins with it. Knowing what it means to Masons, or the 'offset' group who made it, is a good starting point.

Hoping someone has some personal experience with them, and knows what they mean when putting these symbols below on things. What they actually mean to them. This is important for all to know, especially in the near future. You'll see in below examples how worldwide, even warring countries this is prevelant. Looking at this, you may start seeing the below all over the place. Other then what I can read online, I am hoping to get a first hand saying what they are told it means.
http://www.garone.net/tony/random_files/seal14.jpg - that is a very common one worldwide. I've seeing it EVERYWHERE, and many variations of it. I just want to hear from a mason or one who had been, or knows what 'they' say it means.
1. What does the eagle symbolize? - not only a symbolic meaning (freedom, etc), but WHO (one of the wild beasts, one of the faces of the cherubs, Jesus, God, Satan, God's son 1,000 year reign, the kingdoms establishment, etc)
2. What does the 'bound wheat', or sheath its holding mean?
3. What do the arrows mean?
4. On variations of the image, where a skull would be in place of the eagles face, is that mason or an opposing group, either way, what would that mean?
5. On variations where swords, shield, crown on top, or 2 lions on both sides, what would those mean?
6. When 2 olive tree , or 2 leafs/branches coming from bottom on both sides, as seen in this picture.....what does that mean? http://www.wood.army.mil/HDTC/DoDseal.jpg - as seen here
I REALLY hope someone answers. I am really curious, as to WHY these are so prevelant, even Hitler's money had it. Warring/opposing nations, etc. Here is an example..... Nazi money - http://www.quiltersmuse.com/images/German-silver-coin-w-lg-swa.jpg
http://www.31centuries.com/ebay/2009-1109-Coin-Iraq-1955-50F-1b.jpg - iraq (the 2 feathers or branches from the bottom)
And here is an example of the "skull" wings I am talking about, this is not coincidence, and is this an opposer or another understanding of what the above symbology means? http://joerhoney.com/portfolio_/shield_wings_skull.jpg
