cantleave - the only thing I feel guilty about now is how I treated people going through hardships when I was a pious JWasee. I have talked with a few and they are cool with it because they realized that I was a company man. It is amazing how more forgiving those are who have become free than those who claim to be in the special favor. If you talk to those that you feel you hurt over the years, I am sure they will let you know they understand.

On another note, I am just curious, not judging, but I wonder why you would celebrate Easter now? Personally, I have begun celebrating birthdays because I never really understood the stance on that and New Years because it is just a party now anyway. But Easter I don't understand. I hope you do not mind me asking.

some i can figure out on my own and i did download a book of apostate terms that was posted earlier (alongside a chart outlining similarities between ex jws and ex lds), but a few i do not "get".

how about we use this thread for any confused ones to ask and be rewarded with an answer?.

my first is " cobe" and another is "fwn".

The way I was treated was the same and when I was asked to resign as an MS because of false accusations was when I knew Jehovah was no longer using the local congregations. It wasn't until I found this site (by accident) and read CoC by Brother Franz that I came to realize it was the whole organization.

And good for you Nugget for standing by your husband.

As you wrote in one of your parts, that it is amazing how many things you can put away in the "wait on Jehovah file" is so true! It is hard to believe how many things we will put up with and when we look at it in retrospect it is like "what were we thinking?"

reason number 3 should this happen in gods chosen organisation?.

my previous 3 posts dealing with this subject have discussed some incidents that played an important part in my waking up to the fact that i was part of a high control cult ,called by its members the truth.

these events were not entirely responsible for my exit, but they added to a portfolio of doubts that i had subconsciously filed away in the wait on jehovah drawer.

I can totally relate. I had a Bro Slimeball too whose daughters left the truth and his brother and nephew were both DF'd when I was in school with the daughters and nephew. His daughters and nephew were whores and the family was convinced I was involved in the wrongdoing and "got away with it" because I never got df'd. He was key in my leaving (along with his his Bro Lapdogs as well).

I look forward to the next part.
