Yeah, Phizzy, I do believe they get most of their Noo Lite (aka change of direction) from us dissenters, especially here on JWN.

I'm afraid I'd be single for life
by ohnightdivine inthis is quite embarrassing for me to share, but as a 30+ year old single female i have lingering doubts as to whether i can still meet a decent man and get married.. you all know how difficult it is for sisters to find an appropriate partner in the congregation.. and now, all the more so that i've learned ttatt.
i still am bound by low self-esteem, and i do have trust issues, especially with men.
i am very lonely and so i just keep myself busy with work to avoid depression (although it is also a great source of stress).. any other single females out there having similar thoughts?.

bigmac it sounds like you have enough adventures to write a book whilst you wait for your new lady's return.

Did Christ Put an End to Organised Religion
by seekchristonly inyes, he was that radical.
im suggesting he put an end to organised religion with the prophesied destruction of jerusalem , the jewsish system, the old covenant and the temple in the 1st century..

Maybe organised religion co-opted and corrupted baptism and communion?

Anti-Semitic?
Somehow I thought Jesus was born a Jew, loved ordinary and downtrodden Jews, and took exception to those that were leading them astray (through religious legalism and moralism).

Religion vs the gospel
by Fernando inour family's journey out of the watchtower has led us to see the gospel as the antithesis or exact opposite of religion.. for us religion is men telling us what to believe and do (to control us).. for us the gospel is god telling us what he has done (to liberate us from such men).. how have you come to see the relationship between religion and the gospel?.

Most Christians are unfamiliar with the unabridged gospel.
The same for most Jews who (should) know the gospel as "bissar".
The same for most Muslims who (should) know the gospel as "injil"/"injeel".
God has created the legal framework and precedents for our liberation.
These are communicated through the comprehensive, unabridged and common gospel/bissar/injil/injeel message, hidden in plain sight throughout the common Judeo-Christian-Muslim scriptures.
We are invited to accept on very generous terms, but religion, ignorance and busy-ness are powerful enemies.

New Here and happy to have found you
by flowerfreaks2 inhave been out officially for 5 1/2 years.
i was the only one out of all my 4 other siblings that stayed with it.
baptized at 16 and felt the need to carry on the heritage that my mom gave me to do.

A warm welcome flowerfreaks2.
Your openness and honesty is refreshing.
Isn't it wonderful how we can be our normal natural selves once we have dumped (the Watchtower) religion?
And great news to hear that you and family are doing well.
Greetings and best wishes to you all.

is going to a strip club a disfellowshipping offense?
by monis1 ini'm pretty sure it is, just wanted to confirm.
this would be someone who went once and only looked....

Definitely not if the person went there with the "right" people to promote the "right" religion using the "right" tools of trade.
Interpretation: It's all good if the person was accompanied by Pharisees to promote the GB with Watchtower publications.
