  i think bill bowen has given the watchtower another dilemma.. has anyone had a chance to read bills letter to the draffenville body of elders?.

  Someone needs to ask him some very polite and nice questions so he had to explain his reasoning?

  I can probably think of a dozen questions off the top of my head that would cause....... (I'm sure with a whole 30 seconds of thought, we could all come up with MANY)

  I think it would be very easy with his statement above to cause

  A bought of cognitive dissonance followed by a very sick feeling in his stomach... !!!

  Rememeber the saying, no pain, no gain ....

  After all, telling him he's a "maroon" (bug's bunny) will only 'prove' to him that he is right, however, asking him questions that will cause him to explain his reasoning (which any 2 year old should be able to poke holes through, might I add <G>) will show him exactly how full of it his conclusions are...

  What did they change???

  I saw the 'new policy' as you posted it.. I'm not sure what changed, however?? What are they doing differently now?

  i don't know if anyone has posted on this already but there is a new press release at http://www.jw-media.org/releases/default.htm?content=bg_molestation.htm that defines the current jw policy and i believe it has taken a step in the right direction!.

  although they have not literally changed it to require reporting to the authorities in all states, they have finally put into print the following: "additionally, the victim may wish to report the matter to the authorities, and it is his or her absolute right to do so.".

  i am glad to see, straight from the wt, acknowledgement that the adults involved have every right to go to the police.

  Sadly, neither can we, but when the Watchtower uses statements like that, you and I both KNOW exactly what is meant by them...

  It is YOUR right to do anything YOU want to, and it is YOUR right to go against Jehovah... We tell you what Jehovah expects and wants of you, but we're not gonna force you to do it.. That has to come from your own heart.. So, if YOU choose to go against Jehovah that is YOUR CHOICE.. But, don't be surprised when JEHOVAH throws you out of his organization....!!!

  GB has dealt treacherously with Younger Anointed!

  the younger anointed (those who came in after 1935) in the organization are treated by the gb as both a whore and a beloved wife.. the whore: for years they have published articles whose intent was to denigrate the younger anointed.

  as a result many of these younger anointed ones have had to fight a spiritual uphill battle with their elders and circuit overseers because the watchtower paints them as falsely claiming spiritual union with the christ.. .

  the beloved wife: yet, it is from this group of younger anointed that the gb has picked 5 members of the governing body!!

  Hmmm.. THE ONLY ONES? What about the omish? How about the memmonites? And I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the Seventh Day Adventists also will not goto war... !!!

  Sorry, you need to get your facts straight.. There ARE other Christian groups that also will not goto war!!!

  Also, just as a refresher for ya, when Christ "picked" you in 1914, you guys WERE going to war.. It wasn't until 1939 or so that the JW's suddenly said that could not goto war...

  If you don't believe me, go look it up in your own literature, you'll find it next to the part where they practiced Christmas, celebrating birthdays, etc... All of this was allowed in 1914 when Christ looked at the earth and saw you (and only you) as doing god's will..!!!

  add at least one elder per victim (23,000 + 23,000= 46,000).

  It should be 144,000 JW's.....

  All the ones that now realize that the organization lied have true hopes of entering heaven.. The promised 144,000 with a heavenly hope!!!!

  Eastern Evacuation

  contrary to what the public is being told about "possible" evacuation of american citizens from india and pakistan, my son who lives in new delhi has been contacted by the us consulate and requested to be out of the country within two weeks.

  he'll be heading to the us shortly followed by his indian wife a few weeks later.

  Hey, no-one knows for sure who the king of the north is, but he's gonna start Armageddon real soon now!!!!

  Sheesh, you apostates are always trying to put words in our mouths.. WE NEVER said who the king of the north was.. Some brothers were zealous and 'speculated' who it might be, BUT WE NEVER SAID THAT!!!

  And if anyone presents me with any WT literature to the contrary I'm gonna get a stomach ache, but NOTHING is wrong, as I KNOW that WE NEVER SAID THAT!!!!
