im a huge cowboy fan but i dont think they will make it to the super bowl, damn sure would love to be wrong.

ok here is who i think as of right now pittsburgh stealers and san francisco 49ers and god i hate them both, well thats my pick how about you?

pomegranate showed some sense. Jelly at least gave the Pats *some* respect, which is more than can be said for his team, the Steelers. A few quotes from this offseason from the Steelers camp:

Receiver Plaxico Burress on the Pats' Ty Law and Otis Smith: ``They're just two average corners.''

Receiver Hines Ward on the title game loss: ``I felt like we were the better team.''

Safety Lee Flowers on the upcoming season: ``All teams are looking at how to beat the Steelers. Everybody knows who the hunted is. I'm not going to go into the logistics of why we're the hunted, but New England knows. Ask (the Pats), they know.''

Guys...get real..the Patriots handed you your heads in that game. While you guys were making Super Bowl reservations and having Kordell Stewart give press conferences on what it was going to be like playing in the Super Bowl in his home state of Louisiana, the Patriots were preparing for the game, and then took all your reservations. They still aren't giving the Patriots any respect...I don't get it.

As for the NFC...barring injury, I don't see anyone stopping the Rams.

Raiders: To old, rookie coach they don't respect, all still whining over the correct call of a bad rule from last January.

Steelers: Any team with Kordell Stewart as the starting QB AND Bill Cowher as coach will never go to the Super Bowl.

Patriots: Only Super Bowl champion to be under the salary cap, the next and improve during the offseason. Still don't get any respect, especially from the two above teams that they beat in the playoffs.

That being said, the current NFL trend is for a team to come out of nowhere to win it all. Last three champions Rams, Ravens, Patriots. Who's next, the Bengals?

hello all.. i'm thinking of taking some classes (yes i know some of you will be very happy about this) and i was wondering if anyone knew of any grants i could get, or how you even go about that kind of thing???

i didn't make much money at all last year so maybe that'll help.

i wonder if there's an 'ex-fulltime volunteer of a cult,, just out wanting to get on with their life' kind of grant.

as with anyone associated with jehovahs witnesses the worst possible news anyone can have is being df.

it means a loss of everyone and everything you have known all your life.

Just to clarify, DFing announcements are not always made during the "announcement" part of the meeting. If an Elder who was on a committee has a part on the meeting, he may make the announcement at that time, or if it's an announcement that may be upsetting, I've seen it wait until the end of the meeting. No rules on that.

I do have to say, that you got guts, making the announcement yourself. You made your own terms.

Romance status

just curious as to who is single and who is not on this board.i have been with my boyfriend going on 3 years now.

we just moved in together in feb.for the most part we get along great but he has some weird habits.he also thinks i spend too much time on this site(which i do...but heck i finally belong!!

)so its hard to relate to him on the subject.he thinks i should just forget about it.sometimes i think i might be better off with someone who has more or less been where i have.

Married...though that is likely on the outs. I don't like being cheated on. She's got issues to sort out and I don't know how much patience I have.
