Who from JWN would you most like to have dinner with?

if you could pick anyone from jwn to meet in real life to meet and have dinner with, who would that be?

let's exclude all those who you are already friends with, who you know and love from jwn in real life.

so or me, that excludes my friend ann and also curious butterfly.

I would like to eventually meet with every single Ex-Jehovah's Witness.

The reason why is very biblical and more profound than most here are willing to accept.

here is why:

Isaiah 66:5

Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: "YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame." 6 There is a sound of uproar out of the city, a sound out of the temple! It is the sound of Jehovah repaying what is deserved to his enemies.7 Before she began to come into labor pains she gave birth. Before birth pangs could come to her, she even gave deliverance to a male child. 8 Who has heard of a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will a land be brought forth with labor pains in one day? Or will a nation be born at one time? For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons.

Disfellowshipping annnouncement:

The "sons of Zion" are in the Ex-Jehovah's Witness Community!

Who wouldn't want to take the chance of meeting one of them?

What piece of WT literature is worth holding onto, or have you kept? Why?

i have basically thrown away all of my bound volumes and loose wt and awake magazines.

i kept some bpoks, the insight to the scriptures, god's love, the reasoning book, and daniel's prophecies (this was my favorite) .

i held onto insight to the scriptures after reading some of ray franz's book, crisis of conscience.

I would also recommend that people keep their; "Organized to do Jehovah's Will" book.

The profundities it contains are still not thoroughly appreciated.

Compare what it says in Isaiah Chapter 66 to what is written on page 154 of the book:

Isaiah 66:5

5 Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: "YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame."

There is only one end time world wide religion who exclude righteous men/women by reason of God' actual name!

More bad chronology from the Watch Tower Society

it seems that more often than not, when the watch tower society says something about biblical chronology, they're probably wrong.

this seems to be the case even for uncontroversial matters!

Oh yes, what about the covenant with death mentioned in the Isaiah Book?

Isaiah 28:18-19

And YOUR covenant with Death will certainly be dissolved, and that vision of YOURS with She´ol will not stand. The overflowing flash flood, when it passes through—YOU must also become for it a trampling place. 19 As often as it passes through, it will take YOU men away, because morning by morning it will pass through, during the day and during the night; and it must become nothing but a reason for quaking to make [others] understand what has been heard."

So if the 70 weeks prophecy started in the first century then when does it end?

Daniel 9:24

"There are seventy weeks that have been determined upon your people and upon your holy city, in order to terminate the transgression, and to finish off sin, and to make atonement for error, and to bring in righteousness for times indefinite, and to imprint a seal upon vision and prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies.

Matthew 13:39-43

.
