I believe they have ditched the 2/3 rule a long time ago and nowadays the decisions have to be unanimous. I don't remember which video it was but some elder who had been at Bethel had talked with a GB member and got the impression that all the members have to agree. I will try if I can find that video.
This info about 2/3 majority is based of Ray Franz's book. He left in 1980 and many things have changed since then.
the upcoming km school for all elders and servants is going to be in person only with no provision for video conferencing.. only fully vaccinated may attend.
meaning if you missed your last booster you are no longer fully vaccinated.. every coordinator of body of elders has to ask every single ms and elder if they have kept up with all their boosters and are fully vaccinated or they can’t attend.. this seems to be a census the gb want to know how many are keeping up with booster shots.
I guess he means Quercetin by that. But zinc and high blood level of vitamin D are also necessary.

No I wasn't in Bethel. I think it was mentioned here many years ago and I thought it was interesting because such a thing is quite rare. Not many people leave because of doctrinal reasons and its even more rare that more than one individual leaves. I suppose the leading brothers at Bethel were terrified that many would join them? Do you know what happened to them afterwards? Did they join some other religion? I remember they even had their own blog online about some biblical topics.

Were you still there in Bethel around 2009 when some elders were disfellowshiped for "apostasy"? I remember there were maybe 4 of them and the issues were similar than in 1980 in Brooklyn, that everyone should partake etc.

Here is something I had not seen before: notes by Ed Dunlap. I believe he recorded some tapes (one of them can be found on youtube where he tells his story) but I have never found the other ones. These texts seem to be from those tapes. Worth checking out if someone is interested in Ed's doctrinal ideas.
