  What exactly is a relasionship with God?

  growing up and jw and being around them all my life i constantly heard the expression "a relasionship with god".

  this always confused me, because how do you have a relasionship with someone that doesn't talk back to you after praying?

  this was always rationalized as god talks back to you when you read the bible.

  in the past, how effective has religious tv been for you?

  has watching religious tv made by moonies, evangelists, mormons or scientologists made you seriously reflect on spirituality?

  This crap wouldn't stream very well for me so I couldn't really watch it. That and the fact that I am also really not that interested so I doubt I'll be an RV.

  So I finally muscled back the gag reflex long enough to watch some of this. It didn't start very well and then the streaming isn't great for me. Certain sites like Vimeo and now this one do not view smoothly with my connection. Other sites are fine such as YouTube and Netflix.

  Oh well. Darn (not really)

  I feel badly for that one brother at 80 something who found 'da troof'.

  If Extraterrestrials are found existing, will people abandon the Bible?

  i have heard people say: if space exploration proves extraterrestrials do exist, that would be the end of the bible (which teaches earth is the only place there is life).. i feel this will not happen, because already science proved certain views reflected in the bible are wrong:.

  1) joshua stopped the sun to win the war (joshua 10:3).

  2) satanthinking earth is flattook jesus to the top of the mountain so that all kingdoms of the earth could be visible to the eyes (to person like jesus, just saying is enoughwhy need a vision of all kingdoms of the earth.
