these folks have done wonderful work and make up a vast apostate army to take on the wts and their lies, and, they do so with integrity, and respect for truth.
if you are going to point your finger and call the wtbts liars, if you are going to put yourself on the line and take up the mantle of exposing those lies, and offer criticism, you should do so from the moral high ground of integrity and truthfulness.. .

Maybe back then they saw it as others have seen it... a picture depicting others set to be impaled. Maybe they couldn't afford underwear! You're gonna begrudge them a proper impalement cause they can't afford UNDIES?? All joking aside, it was 1927 when this was printed and homosexuality wasn't as "mainstream" (for lack of a better word!) as it is now. Perhaps they didn't see it as homoerotic. Also, consider the context this picture was used in. I don't like the WBTS any more than the next apostate. However, I'm not quick to ascribe bad motive to every SINGLE thing they do. I give the benefit of the doubt to everyone... (perhaps that's why my ex has screwed me so many times lol).
I don't consider it offensive, blasphemous, or any of the other words that were used. This VERY WELL could have really happened at crucifictions of the time. Keep in mind, too that nudity isn't frowned on in non-puritanical cultures. A wang is a wang and who gives a shit if it's hangin out getting some air? Honestly, if a person reads more into this than just that it's a simple piece of art, THEY are the perverts with the problem.

Hey, Does My (Successful) Diet Prove Evolution?
by metatron inok, so the doctor tells me about diet 'cause i have cholesterol/trigylcerides/ and some weight issues.. so, i have come to respect vegetarian meals, so i drink v-8 and orange juice and fruit and rice and stuff.. i'm descended from perfect humans who ate pretty much the same way....................??????????.

I'm with you metatron! I've done both those diets, and I lost MAJOR amounts of weight and improved my overall blood panels. I feel healthier, more energetic, no brain fog, etc. It really IS the way to go. And for those who say it's not a one-size-fits-all thing, well I've seen many people of many different body types do these diets and the weight loss and improvement in health was significant. It's eating the way humans evolved to eat.
Now, a cow that's factory farmed isn't going to be as healthy to eat as a cow that's grass-fed and free range, I'll give you that. Buffalo and other wild game are the healthiest and leanest meats to consume (and they're yummy). A factory farmed cow is fed corn (which it was NOT evolved to eat) along with bone meal from other cows, chicken dung and feathers, etc. A cow is a HERBIVORE, yet humans force them to be OMNIVORES and this results in illness and disease in the cows. That "marbling" that people love so much in their steak? A grass-fed cow doesn't have that...or if it does, it's not NEARLY as much. THAT is unhealthy fat formed by the diet the cow eats. THAT is why beef is recommended in small servings every once in awhile. But a healthy cow that's fed a healthy natural diet produces healthy beef. It's common sense. WE get sick & diseased because our FOOD is sick and diseased when it's alive.

alanv thanks for posting that!! So, basically, even if I didn't come here and post, I'm considered an apostate because my views differ from the "current light". Amazingly, some years ago had differing views and were DF'ed for apostasy and then the WTBS changed their doctrine to what was believed by those people! Were they reinstated with an apology? Nope. Serves them right for "running ahead of the organization"...even though they were freaking RIGHT...
But I digress. Opening your mouth and confessing your doubts and beliefs is a surefire way to get your ass hauled into a JC. That doesn't mean you have to go. That doesn't mean you have to talk to them or anyone else about it. If they DF you in absentia, being that you are such a loving and kind person, you will have NO problem making REAL friends who will accept you for YOU.
