Baby name suggestions?

preferably something with apostate or rock musician connotations.
i thought of "stevie ray" as in stevie ray vaughan and as a tribute to both steven hassan and ray franz but it sounds a bit too redneck for my taste.

Family Worship Night Rule.....

i have it on good authority that at the recent circuit assembly it was announced from the platform that there had been reports of groups of families and friends getting together to study on family worship night and that this was not to continue as fwn is for families only and not for other brothers and sisters to get involved in.. oh, and if you live alone, then you have to study on your own, you alone are your family, you are not to join anyone else's fwn (although i'm sure they didn't mean you couldn't join your blood family's fwn....).
the level of control never ceases to amaze me...... .

What if there were about 10 or more invited to your home ? Would they view that as a meeting ? What if half the kingdom hall ended up in your house because you have a large extended family as well as lots of singles ? Are they gonna advise limiting the number you have in your home ? Are they actually gonna announce a rounded number from the platform and advise the brothers not to go beyond it.? And WORSHIP ? Where does the Worship come in. ? JWs dont worship. They Listen and Read and then become indoctrinated.

So, outwith the meeting times, (Thurs and Sun) , they are actually telling people who they can have in their own house. What if, out of the kindness of their heart, they invite up bro. or sister lonely to enjoy some spiritual food every tuesday night. Are the elders seriously gonna start counselling people about it? What if the families don't heed the warning ? Will they be disciplined ? Marked even....for rebellious behaviour ? Where will it stop ? I F***ING HATE THIS ORGANIZATION !

MY FAVOURITE POEM IN THE WHOLE WORLD
NOT YET MY MOTHER By Owen Sheers.
Yesterday I found a photo of you at seventeen, holding a horse and smiling, not yet my mother.
The tight riding hat hid your hair, and your legs were the long shins of a boys. You held the horse by the halter, your hand a fist under its jaw.
The blown trees were still in the background and the sky was grained by the old film stock, but what caught me was your face, which was mine.
And I thought, just for a second that you were me, But then I saw the womans jacket, nipped in at the waist, the ballooned jodpurs and of course the date, scratched in the corner.
All of which told me again, that this was you at seventeen, holding a horse and smiling, not yet my mother, although I was clearly already your child.

I think we should leave him alone. There are so many people on here every day going through tough times emotionally because of witness rules.
How many are being shunned every day ? How many cry every day through not being able to see or talk to family members ? How many are
stressed through still going to meetings but stay in for fear of what will happen if they dont ? Sometimes reading some crap / humorous stories
can lighten a few minutes of their day. Everyone has something to contribute, sometimes serious, sometimes doctrinal, and sometimes funny.
Let him be funny..........You think he's not having a laugh himself ?

Letter to my in-laws regarding shunning over Easter period.
by jakes inover the easter period my family and i took a well deserved break.
we travelled to our hometown to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.
however, the treatment we experienced from my in-laws was totally appalling.

SHOCK! As A Family Of 5 Is DF'd On The Same Night!!!
by african GB Member inthe whole congregation came to a complete and utter shock as a family of 5 was df'd on the same night.... apparently the father was to be df'd for apostacy.
he was given a chance to appeal.
went home to discuss it with family.

Same as illustration they use to say how much better it is to be in the "truth" ........Like a seatbelt in a car, you may view it as a restraint but ultimately its there for your protection. They don't see themselves as being controlled, but protected. That is why they focus a lot on the negatives of not being a JW , how everyone else in the world is depressed, is a drug addict, alcoholic, divorced, has children outwith wedlock, has an STD, is in jail, is a fornicator or adulterer...etc ,etc. The org. have a Jerry Springer view of the world and impress this view constantly through talks and literature. Isn't this a popular presentation in field service.......to present first the bad view of the world and how hopeless things are ?
This actually makes the JW feel grateful and privileged to be part of the org. What a result ! This produces a wave of appreciation from the membership. Their use of sly , underhand tactics to keep people enslaved to them is actually rewarded by a thank you! Can you believe it? There is no doubt about it, the org. are experts in controlling their members and making them think it is their freedom of choice that keeps them a part of this organization. How sad!
