no one else will be up yet, let alone have access to the internet, so let me be the first person to thank englishman and her ladyship for being wonderful hosts, at what was the event of the year.. i met so many brilliant people and had a fantastic time.
englishman has a lovely family, and shame on him for tempting an old lady like me with such handsome young sons.
crumpet is a charming, beautiful, lady, who just needs a mum to love her like she deserves to be loved.
Where are my manners this morning? I hope everyone had a splendid time, sounds like it was a great party. Take it easy this morning y'all.

i find it interesting now that quite a few chapters of runningman's book are now posted that they are so avoided by the christians on this board.
at least it sure seems that way as few if any comments are made by them.. if there is a christian apologists thread started, the athiests are usually there posting because they have a reasonable argument and can debate it.
apparently for the christians there is no way to do that with runningman's writings.
You may want to bump this in a day or two's time for little toe to comment on, as he usually polices the athiest threads to make sure we're not doing too much christian bashing.
Right now however, I think that he's probably unconscious under a table somewhere at the UK aposto-get-together.

my brother who is a jw (who i helped into the religion when i was a dub) came to my house this morning this morning while we were having breakfast.
the first thing out of his mouth was the bombing in london and how this is the worst bombing since ww11.
then he made the comment "i wonder what this is going to lead to.
...I've just worked out why "awfulise" sounds perfectly normal to me. It's because it's just the same as "trivialise" or "idealise" isn't it? They're both adjective+ise being used as a verb right? So someone stopping by to awfulise could just as easily have stopped by to trivialise or to idealise.
Come on people, let's harmonise and energise, not demonise, rather advertise and prioritise awfulise.

However, i think i'll stop hijackizing this thread, terriblizing on this unimportizatory matter and go back to focusizing on this captivatizing thread
hmmm, maybe I'm pedantising here, but I think that terriblising is really the only one of those you can get away with.
ig. (still a fan of awfulise)

Awfulize is a fantastic word! It immediately conjures up a mind picture of exactly what's going on, which is the purpose of language - to accurately convey thought from one mind to another, right?
It's not only the witnesses who are awfulising (I'm going to have to spell it with an "s" I'm afraid, being from this side of the atlantic) about the bombings to further their agenda. It's just part of the human condition I'm afraid. The urge to say "I told you so" has proved to be irresistable from all sides of the political argument. I'm sorry you had to sit through the sermon though.

that seemed to be the catch phrase before i left about a year ago.
maybe they need to hire a pr firm to help out with a new catch phrase.

Coming next year to convention centres the world over:
New publication: what does the bible really really teach
Buzz phrase: we are in the last days of the last days of the last days.
