does anyone know when pdfs of the new publications will be released?

Getting my children out

my wife is still in and no matter what logic i show her, she still wants to continue with the cult.

for me, she's a lost cause.

i explained the 607 factor and her reaction to that was "well, that isn't important to me as i still believe, plus, there's no where else for me to go.".

We also have two beautiful daughters, 3 years of age and a 1 year old.

I have decided to not let her take our children to the meetings any longer. I plan on using the following approach:

"Darling, until you can prove to me why you have to take our children to the meeting, they won't be going with you. As a Jehovah's Witness, you are taught to convert people and explain to them why they must become a Jehovah's Witness. You are taught that it is God's Earthly organisation. Therefore, if you can show me evidence of this fact, not only will the children come along with you to the meetings, but I will also join you."

I will let her rant and rave until the cows come home and then again ask why she is so upset? After all, if she belongs to God's only Earthly organisation, then surely it will be so easy to convince me of this?

I will stand my ground. My children will never again be allowed to mingle with cultherders.

Enough is enough!

A Question about the publisher numbers released by Watchtower.

at the end of each service year the watchtower release the service report.

when it says "peak pubs" and "average pubs", does this number include unbaptized publishers or is it only baptized publishers?.

i'm referring to the actual number of "anointed christians.

" the total limit is 144,000, no more, no less.

then it's a sealed deal and armageddon can proceed.

Revelation 7:3-8 states that the 144,000 will be drawn from every TRIBE OF ISRAEL.

Now, let me see if I've got this right; the number, 144,000 isn't symbolic, but the "sealed from every tribe of Israel" part, is symbolic??

Now, slap me on my botty and call me Judith, but does that make sense to anyone here?

Oh and the bible is a Goosfraba.

During pregnancy, is the mothers blood in any way passed onto the baby?

Where have they all gone?

when i first joined this forum, i was still an active-on-the-way-out jehovah's witness.

back in late 2008, there were quite a few actives on here.

When I first joined this forum, I was still an active-on-the-way-out Jehovah's Witness. Back in late 2008, there were quite a few actives on here. I used to have some great fun with Reinaa (remember her?) and others.

It seems as though they've departed the Jehovahs-Witness.net shores.

Please come back, as I want some action when I come onto this forum!

The good news is that they are still out there, but they're not really posting. On my blog, www.JehovahsWitnessBlog.com, I get emails from all sorts of active JW's. Some are really rude, whilst others, don't really care and find the blog amusing.

Is there a way of getting them to come back here though?

Did you carry any No Blood paraphernalia around?

i never really carried anything on me.

it was always fun getting the card signed and all (a welcome change of pace at the service meeting).

but i always thought it looked too weird to have that in my wallet.

I carried it around with me when I was younger, but towards the end of my association with the Jehovah's Witness cult, I didn't even have one.

As Teel said above, it's funny to remind ourselves what a cult can actually do.

We carried around a card that basically said;

"I am prepared to die for the good of this cult. I know that by me dying in this way, the Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society will have some great marketing material to play with. I know that my story could possibly make the next Blood Article Watchtower and be a real strength to those that are weak".

Yep, that's the decision we were making guy's.

Let's face the facts here. People believe in the bible, because the bible told them so.

That, for me, isn't leading a happy life.

Since I've left the disgusting cult, my life has taken turns for the best and I am so happy.
