by cluless inthroughout genesis chapter 1 to chapter 2 v 4 the term "god "is used.
from chapter 2 v 4 untill chapter 4 the term "lord god "is used.
i was wondering therefore if the title "god "refers to a different being than the term "lord god" ?

I agree with Jaguarbass we were a genetic experiment gone wrong from another planet by the Gods and they tried to extinguish us on this other planet but 1 God had pitty on us while the other Gods were set out to kill us.The 1 God seeded us on other planets and the other Gods are searching all the planets to kill us because we are like cockroaches and hard to kill. We are a horrible experiment gone wrong. We only have a short time on this earth until the other Gods find us and kill us all. It's all there in the bible you just have to read it. Build your spaceship before the Other Gods arrive, flee to another planet before it's to late!

You would think if you were going to right a historic book inspired by God and going to be read by future generations you would want to get all the facts straight. It leaves you with more questions than answers. I don't get that book at all. Then for someone to say all you need is faith is a crock. Blind Faith is just not my style!

by Homerovah the Almighty indid you ever come across jws that seemed in their own mindset they have built up and accumulated redemption points that they.
in turn felt they could and would invoke personal injury to others and not take responsibility for their actions.. i've come across a few that seemed to use and exploit their personal redeemer far and above the average only to get charged up again.
as their meeting and service requirements were met.. there is a psychological suggestion that says if people are constantly being told and pressed into them that a powerful and omnipresent god .

Atleast you're thinking is on the right track. It's up to each individual to decide for themselves.We are judged as individuals and not because we are part of some group. The logic of the Watchtower is you must be part of the group or you will not survive armegeddon because they are Gods only channel and you must be there to get all the updates and proper Kool-Aid at the proper time. it's all nonsense. Everyone has there own consequences some huge some not so huge. If there is a creator what would that person do? What would Jesus do in that situation would he keep his mouth shut just to keep the peace. Hell NO, The guy spoke his mind and told the Pharisees off that's why they killed him because he was a threat to there power. If you leave expect this same treatment but Jesus knew in advance what they would do to him and he still did it. Hope one day you do make the jump and Get the Heck out of the Watchtower. I've been reading more about mind control. Being wordly is anyone outside the group. It is group think logic. some more fanatical than the next but all thinking the same. Once you've gotten into a persons head you can control them and even conquer them. The mind controls the rest of the body once you have that they are all yours. Very sinister stuff indeed.

What can we truly know about the inner life of another person with any certainty? Not a lot I think.
But it certainly seems to me that many people live their whole lives happy as Jehovah's Witnesses. They have careers, friends, family, a place in the congregation, a sense of purpose, and an ideology that makes sense of the world around them. Sure some leave because being a Witness makes them miserable too. But we should be cautious about assuming our own thoughts and feelings about any given situation to be universal.
And incidentally, although many are happy to get free from the religion, some apostates are by all appearances miserable once they have left. So it works both ways.
Sounds like Watchtower thinking to me! They need to install a revolving door in this religion because the turnover rate is so high. If the Watchtower was a company to work for it would be rated a horrible place to work because if people were happy in it they would stay but there not so they leave. The many you speak of are the ones who are so braindead and overlook everything and are walking zombies. I met plenty guess what by the time there old there so screwed up in the head there not even human. Some leave,lol they are running out of there faster than they can recruit them. Nice apology reading for the Witnesses and how wonderful it is to be there and is no different than any upbringing. Ya right i was raised in the world and the Witneses are a strange bunch indeed.
