It took my childhood, my self-esteem/confidence/worth, my parents' ability to act NORMAL (despite the fact they faded shortly after my DFing they are still controlling people who refuse to form a real bond with me or my children), my ability to form long-lasting friendships, my right to believe in God as I choose (now I struggle with whether I should even bother to believe anything at all), most memories of my childhood (I barely have any), my ability to form healthy relationships with the opposite sex (many hurtful encounters/relationships, one divorce, and an unhappy marriage that is most likely a result of my screwed up past), my ability to give "meaning" to any holidays celebrated with my own children, and probably a lot more.

if thats the case, why do they portray folks in the new order as fully clothed?
i thought clothing was the result of sin, so once sin is eliminated, should not clothing be also?

I still haven't had a proper birthday since getting out of the Cult 12 years ago. I hope that this year will be different but with the way our finances are at the moment it looks like it will be another "Oh yeah, Happy Birthday" year. :/

I had a hard time learning about dinosaurs, cave men, and the likes in Science class at school (dating back millions of years) while being taught that the earth was only thousands of years old at KH. Scientists were wrong and that was that, but I couldn't shake the feeling that it was such a HUGE time difference. We're not talking a few hundred or thousand years...we're talking MILLIONS of years. Oh, and that cave men didn't exist...well, then who was the frozen guy they found that wasn't quite developed the same as us? The whole explanation just never sat right with me.

The existence of children in the artwork portraying "Paradise" would be inaccurate, as well, if this is the case:
"There will be no procreation or elimination, thus no genital parts to cover."
It is said there will be 1000 years of cleaning up to do...by the time the earth looks like that there will BE no children! Well, maybe the ones resurrected...but how long is that going to last...maximum of 18 years until everyone is an adult with no genitals? Fun, fun. -

by Tuesday inso it's official my little channel of tough questions for jehovah's witnesses has made someone's little jw switch turn off.
i got a private message today from an active witness who both himself and his wife now say that "i now see that jw's are all about interpretation and not some special understanding".
figures that i'm almost done with the series too lol, i've got one more update to do before my final question that i've come up with for the series.

Reasons for wearing high-heels, which are almost exclusively aesthetic, include:

Reasons for not wearing high-heels include:
* they can cause foot pain
* they can create foot deformities, including hammertoes and bunions
* they can cause an unsteady gait
* they can shorten the wearer's stride

* altered forces at the knee caused by walking in high-heels may predispose to degenerative changes in the knee joint
* Women who wear high heels frequently have a higher incidence of degenerative joint disease of the knees. This is because they cause a decrease in the normal rotation of the foot which puts more rotation stress on the knee
