  a thought of compassion and love from me.

  i can't imagine how extremely difficult that must be to deal with, loosing your children and how much that must hurt every day!!

  i've lost my only sister now since being disfellowshipped y-day and it breaks my heart.

  I'm sorry about your sister.......mine doesn't have contact with me either(unless it benefits her)...

  All I do is remember is that it's HER choice not mine...although that makes me irritated too......time helps...and you never know about the future.....

  AND I'm waiting for my chance to tell her and her idiot husband exactly what I think. But out of respect for my parents, it'll have to wait....

  hang in there...the best revenge is to live well in spite of them.....then it's proven that those of us that leave the organization can function and not lose ourselves.......

  O.J. SIMPSON SENTENCED TO 15+ YEARS...

  finally got sentenced......he got it on 10 counts but all of the sentences are to run concurrently.

  he gets 15 years with the possibility of parole after 5 or 8 years........ he didn't look quite as smug as he did 14 years ago..........jackass..

  Goodbye to JWD ... hello to JWN !

  as i announced some time ago, jwd as it is will not continue .... ... but .... it's clear from people's comments that they do like the site and many would like it or something else like it to continue.. one issue was the forum software that was self-developed and not really in a good state to hand-over to anyone but i've been working on that and can now reveal the first release of what will probably be called jwn (son of jwd):.

  it is still work-in-progress so not all features are enabled yet but it will allow you to browse the site in a similar way to this one and it is pointing at the same database (although because of the way the caching works, new posts made on this site won't appear immediately).

  What are you doing for Turkey Day and Black Friday?

  happy turkey day everyone... the one thing i can be grateful about this year is that i am over a year out of the borg.... that was a huge milestone.. i have only distant relatives close by and wont be able to travel this year to be with my brothers (who live 5 and 8 hours away) or mom (11 hours away).

  just no time or money to travel this year.. i did receive an invitation to spend turkey day dinner with a jwder and their family, but this year i think i am just going to coccoon the next couple of days... .

  (i am very very grateful that they thought of me to extend the invite.

  we should start worrying about this in the uk as the taser gun is being used as an instrument of torture against non violent people already in the usa, the land of the 'very unfree' and our own government plans to arm 10,000 police officers with this self same instrument of torture.. someone tell me that the lunatics are not running the asylum!.

  if anything....this proves it.. i know there are other people such as myself with hidden heart conditions who would die immeadiately is one of these were ever used on them.. what's going on in this crazy world?.

  first....there's always more than one side to these stories...

  second..have you ever fought with an enraged woman? Women are much worse than a man to fight with. I speak from experience. Or tried to carry a person OUT OF A STADIUM??? Up or down many stairs??? I'm not breaking my back for that.

  third..tasers are NOT torture...puh-leeze. I've been shot with one WITH PRONGS. It lasts 5 seconds and it's over. They are a very good alternative device to being smacked with a baton.

  And as others wisely put it...when a police officer gives you a direction..DO IT...in the middle of a situation is NOT the time to argue about it. That's what Internal Affairs and civil suits are for later.

  Like in any profession there are good and bad cops. It's amazing how people are always willing to believe the worst about the police. But when they need the police, they scream(baaaaaa) very loudly.....
