  i apologize if this has been mentioned, but i don't have the time to come on here as often.

  yesterday's bookstudy on divorce got my shorts in a bit of a knot.

  apparently, according to the god's love book, a wife could consider legal separation from her husband if she is physically abused, but (get this) only in the case of extreme physical abuse, and if the wife's life is in danger.

  blessedchild wants money sent to africa to help

  just got a pm from blessedchild that joined 5 hours ago wanting me to send money to africa to feed them since their mother disowned them because they do not go to the kingdom hall.

  a teacher let them use a computer to ask google for help and they found me.

  sorry, dont want to sound cruel, but i can barely feed myself let alone some kids in another part of the world..

  Hi - new kid on th block

  i have been looking at this website for about 2 months now and feel i am now ready to say hi and intoduce myself.i dont want to give out too much info at this point in time as i still am in the org, but have only been to 2 meetings since the district convention in august and last time i went out on service was in march.

  i was basically raised in the truth as my parents became jw when i was 2. i was married in my late teens and after 21 years of being married to a total control freak he left me (yay).

  anyway since me ex left, i had been doing a lot of thinking about being a witness, and i wasnt really going to a lot of meetings - just didnt feel like it.

  A Statement in the WTS from 10/25/09

  there was a statement in the wt study yesterday that really struck me.. i believe it was in the box pimping the "keep yourself in big brother's love" oops...."keep yourself in god's love" book.. it was a simple statement but hit me like a ton of bricks - furthering my resentment toward the hateful and indiscreet slave.. it said something like ..."many people have left jehovah's love" and went on to mention conduct instead of doctrine being the cause.. it really got me thinking:.

  1) doesnt god love unconditionally?

  isnt that why he sent jesus christ forth?.

  would you say that's the beginning of the end?

  hubby's researching if the beginning date can be proven from the bible its starting date is 607. clearly, he won't find the answer.... here's hoping he will see the light... .

  It would be funny to watch what Supporters of 607BCE would say if the watchtower dropped the 607BCE date, and they were left defending it. (They would be DF'd) LOL
