I commend you Rachel, I got frustrated with Hikaru a long time ago... She comes to an apostate website looking for confirmation that the world is coming to an end.... Psychologically, perhaps she knows it isn't, and this is the only forum who understands the doomsday mindset of a JW and can allay her fears... Hard to say.

the other day some friends and i were talking about shows we liked when we were kids.
one show i absolutely loved when i was a kid, but cannot remember the name, was about some kids who would fly around in a tall wooden rocket ship.
the characters were all marionettes on strings and the ship looked like it was cobbled together will bits and pieces of scrap wood with a cone on the top.. i think it aired in the 1970's or 1980's.

And Nath, I would LOVE to go to Sweden... My former JW friend told me there are a lot of great things to see in Stockholm! He is from a smaller town, but loved going to Stockholm... I'd also like to go to Örebro, and Göteborg... Ahhh, someday I'll get there!

her son, jesse, is in serious condition.. my son is in surgery and may lose his hand and arm.. jesse got an infection in a cut on his finger.
his finger and hand swelled to the size of an arm .. .
they have to do surgery on his hand and arm.

whenever i have mentioned this practise to people who don't know much about the witnesses (although they should know about them due to the worldwide preaching activity .
to most right thinking people it is absolutely just not an option to have no contact with your immediate family.. one lady said to me "i'd rather rip my heart out".. what has been your experience when people find out that jw's carry out this evil practise?.
I was horrified when I found out! I couldn't believe that my friend, who I had a lot of respect for, would treat his loved ones in that way if they chose to no longer be a part of his religion!
