"Youth Indoctrination" (Atheist Experience show #832)
by adamah inthe 'atheist experience' cable tv show had an excellent segment today on religious indoctrination of young people, presented by the ever-smiling tracie harris; it's worth a look, with great advice, and it rings true to jw methods of raising children to a tee:.

I'm changing direction with my blog
by JeffT ini've discovered that i can't bring myself to listen to more of the convention program for the simple reason that its about as interesting as drying paint.
the same holds true with reading watchtower publications, there isn't any content to analyze.. at the same time i'm trying to work out some back story problems with my fiction regarding religion.
twice i tried to write up that back story for nanowrimo, without success.

My Christmas Tradition
by crmsicl injust had my 4th annual cookie exchange with my neighbor friends.
for about 20+ years i would wave hello to my neighbors but hardly talk to them, i was usually too busy.
they knew i was jw and they were always tolerant, always nice to us.
