No-Sew Covid-19 Face-Mask using Shop Towel
by Simon innow that the medical advice seem to be coming round to actually giving honest advice, it's good to have a mask.
weeks wasted and god knows how many infected that didn't need to be, but now there's no excuse for not wearing one ... other than you may not have any.. you can make them of course, if you have a sewing machine.
but even if you don't, you can make one using the blue shop-towel, a couple of elastic bands and a stapler.

Do you have any evidence that the GB had bad intent?
by AlainAlam indo you have any evidence that the gb had bad intent?
as opposed to blind faith/cognitive dissonance and honest mistakes.. i'm inclined to think they have the best of intentions and are just wrong (primarily because the bible is wrong), but i'm willing to consider the evidence otherwise..

Here are some of the unquestionable consequences of what happens to people who did join the JW religion .....
Personal financial ruin, oppressed intellectual growth, preventable death, individual disrepair, anxiety, depression, suicide, broken family relationships, missed secular work opportunities, missed personal relationships with the opposite sex/marriages.
When select men proclaim they have being directed by god's holy spirit therefor everything they say or instruct comes through him in all power and righteousness ........ shit inevitably happens to people .
Those select men really are into a state of self glorification and empowerment, appealing to themselves, their personal identity and stature.

There is plenty of evidence the past presidents or GB leaders of the WTS/JWS had bad intent, not so much with C T Russell, he just adopted some crazy evangelical theologies from other people and thought they would be worthy to help sell literature that he was going to publish.
He wasn't on a high rolling people controlling power trip like the men who followed after in control over the WTS publishing house. ( J Rutherford )
The WTS eventually expanded and grew so did the individual power and control over people's lives by the top leaders who slowly developed a greater sense of involving self empowerment, telling people not to get married and have children, telling them to forego any vaccination, organ transplant or blood transfusion and many people died because of that.
That righteous perceived power came from god's holy spirit that was being poured out to those men because they claimed that god had selectively chosen them.
The bad intent of those men can now be identified in their own endeavor of self empowerment via god's power.

That's not surprising to see a top tier JWS member getting treated very well.
I saw the local CO get treated with the best restaurants in the city, driven around in the most luxurious cars in my time as a JWS.
The GB men today when they travel around the world with their wives get treated in the same way in that they are seen as glorified celebrities of the organization .

What do JW's believe about the Anti Christ? Been out for 20 years, don't remember lol...
by bobfish ini was watching a video saying with tongue in cheek saying that trump was the antichrist listing all the scriptures and prophecies... was kind of funny but it made me wonder what the heck do jw's believe?
was it that it's other religions or some such garbage?
i don't seem to recall it being a specific person but honestly i don't recall at all.

The theological duality of there being an evil dark god and there being a good light giving god goes far back before the ancient Hebrews or Canaanites, it actually existed thousands of years before with the ancient Egyptian theological beliefs and practices .

What do you think of the ransom as proof of Jehovah's love?
by AlainAlam inconsider these excerpts from the bible and the publications:.
“no one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his life in behalf of his friends” (joh 15:13).
“for hardly would anyone die for a righteous man; though perhaps for a good man someone may dare to die.

You know some knowingly lying corrupt men who propagated false doctrines to promote and sell their published literature might very well behind having a personal savior for their own inherent sins.
Can you think of any men or people like that ?

I think what AlainA is trying to assert on this thread is that the GB men or past presidents of the WTS were just misinformed good willed and well intended people.
When you look at the activity of these men you see power seeking opportunist men who were willing to publicly pose themselves as selectively god's chosen ones who were being directed by god's holy spirit to preach a truthful and accurate preaching of Jesus's new kingdom order.
They weren't they were just commercialized false prophets preaching a false gospel not in line at all with Jesus's own instructions.
