I suppose I was a bit rude to Reniaa,and I apologise on my knees if I have upset her. Sorry Reniaa!

But in mitigation,I like the idea of alternative points of view,but it seemed to me she was not trying to debate,just wreck the thread.

In fact I never see her truly debate,she ignores the telling comments and changes the course of the discussion when points hit home,typical Dub method.

So I don't wish to offend anybody,but this precious resource that is JWD dosn't need people who are not prepared to be intellectually honest.

my wife and i have a lurking witness friend who sent us this information as she is very pro-active trying to fight child abuse from within the organization itself !

so get your barf bags ready- you are going to need them to stomach this " official policy " garbage from the wt society.

now if it is truly apostate,in the sense of being scripturally wrong then the wt has had 20 years or more to expose it,same as if it is factually wrong.. if it is neither, then the wt has had 20 or so years to put their house in order,so reading it now,dubs should say "oh yea we've changed that,so no worries".

so why can't they read it now?.

i remember arguing with a bethel elder friend of mine during a long ride to an assembly about the"new light" in 1995....that the generation of 1914 is not the "this generation" that jesus referred to: .

(luke21:32)32 truly i say to you, this generation will by no means pass away until all things occur.

yep....pretty damm simple to me for 45 years...the generation that sees all the "signs" will not die before armageddon....thus we honest hearted ones pleaded with our back calls, or return visits to study with us before it is too late!....the time is soooo short, cause these 1914 folk are gettin damm old!....hurry in and be saved!.

I can top you in the blind fool department, I was "born in" (1950) and when I was about 11(1961-ish) I asked my old man about the change in doctrine that had gone on before then and where the Holy Spirit came into this,was it fooling about?

His answer must have satisfied me enough,I didn't walk away fully until this year!!!!

I think he said stuff along the lines of they have got most of it right etc. etc.

I never did go along with the wild stuff about Cedar point Ohio etc,but thought they would adjust it.

What a mind controlled Dumbass I was,even if not all my mind was duped, I still wasted my life and talents (Oh Bugger)

This is the usual carefully contrived propaganda,trying to keep it all secret if possible,and I don't see any advice on ongoing protection for the children,if it does exist as advice I know from experience it is not followed.

Did you notice that all of a sudden they are an "imperfect human organisation".?

Where is the Holy Spirits Direction that they shout about? Surely our Lord cares for the little ones,if He is directing them as head of the congregation why the f**k can't they get an effective protection policy in place now,and why wasn't it there years ago????

Scripture quotes on items not made by JW's is considered bad

have you ever noticed, or noticed it in yourself, that when you see a product with a scriptural quote, it was avoided, unless it was made by a jw company?

i remember my mom coming over and on a bag of potato chips, they quoted a scripture on the back of a bag.

she picked it up and said something to the effects of it being terrible.

Here in the UK a famous sugar refiners had on their tins of Golden Syrup (Diabetes in a tin) an illustration of a lion with bees buzzing around,and the quote underneath "Out of the strong comes forth sweetness" from Samsons riddle.

Now how deep does this psychological problem go? I remember at 8 or so years old (fifty years ago!) this was slightly disturbing to me,

WHY?

Was it just shock that some other people actually read their bible? or had some deeper fear been pumped into my brain by this tender age?

I just thought of another good question for a pioneer,it may be covered in Sac's links, but ask "As you carry out Jesus command to make disciples,why don't you baptise,as he commanded in the same verse ,in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit?"

(Since 1985 all JW,s were Baptised into the organisation.See the vows)

According to the Bible who is the Mediator between God and men? (WTS says FDS)

If a group claims to speak for God,how does the Bible say we should judge their claim (If their words don't come true they don't speak for God,1925 1975 etc. etc.)
