Excellent Conversation At Literature Trolley
by cofty inyesterday my wife and i enjoyed one of our regular days out at edinburgh - movie, lunch, walk, meal etc.. in the late afternoon while mrs cofty went shopping i had an hour at the excellent museum of scotland and arranged to meet up outside the national gallery on princes street.
on my way back i saw the jw trolley was at the usual spot on the royal mile.
there was an older man and a young woman standing well back trying hard to look inconspicuous.

funny how for all those years we'd have our "Reasoning" book ready, have pre made presentations in how to over come objections when speaking to people from other religions etc, now its just go to our website, I say to them that your website is clearly incomplete with UN membership, child abuse cover-ups, failed doctrines and no older publications seem to be available on it, the "Reasoning" book is well past it now, do they ever use it? -

My 14-year-old niece is being disfellowshipped
by keyser soze ini was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.
she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.
it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .

absolute heartless lunacy , hope she is supported and gets through it, no 14 year old should have to deal with such life changing issues like this -

Australia Branch to end magazine printing
by no-zombie injust one week from the zone overseer's visit is the announcement that the magazine production by the australia branch will end in a few months.
the task being transferred to the japan branch.
while i'm not 100% certain, i understand that this effectively ends all major printing bar perhaps tracts, handbills and other loose items.

amazing if true and would surely be the end of the Australian branch, so Japan would feed all of South East Asia and Australasia ,Selters to feed all of Europe and that just leaves Africa where I dont know where the printing is done, is there a large branch in The Congo? Mexico feeds all of South America I suppose? -

he conducted himself very well perhaps rather soft on these two numbskulls I would have hit them with both barrels, the fact these two idiots spent almost two hours defending the ludicrous policy of the two witness rule etc just goes to show what a dirty, filthy, seedy organization it really is, I liked it when he claimed to be having "a crisis of conscience!" -

Whats the one thing
by MrTheocratic injw's are constantly trying to prove they have the truth.
they always point to matthew 24:14 and say "who is accomplishing this work today?
this proves we have the truth and gods backing".. for those of us in this community looking from the other side what is one thing that proves to you that this organization does not have gods backing?

I've heard the same old " who else is doing the preaching work worldwide" so many times, I say well you do a form of canvassing for the WTS distributing books and magazines etc, but so do the Mormons and in fact I've had the Mormons call on me far more and I asked them to stop and they were becoming pests, and I can prove to you that you both DONT have the truth! they usually change the subject. -
