by atomant inthey say you mellow out with age.maybe so but not in my case.l feel its an insult and degrading to us humans to have to live the way we do if there is a god.deep down l guess l do believe theres a god but lm having great difficulty trying to understand why things are the way they are.l dont need a bible bashing from anyone l just feel frustrated and helpless.l just battle on like everyone else but l get the feeling theres a whole lot more to our existence.

I definitely do as well, its the sheer lunacy, the unanswered questions, the insane dick waving competition that us mere mortals are stuck in the middle of , how many more millions need to die?, how much more does the earth need to be populated by? its all become a sick joke by now, I feel betrayed that a so called creator of the universe who has allegedly made us in his image continues this sick, stupid selfish game, and as the years pass the stupidity of the bible becomes more and more obvious, the scientific impossibility of the creative, days ,the recordings of his vengeful, hateful, spiteful punishments that he continually gave to his so called children/creations. The questions seem more and more incapable of being answered. -

I see there is another pointless feud brewing up again and surprise surprise the evangelical Christian side of exjw (number 2 on the list from the first page) activism is leading more attacks against another jw activist who just goes about his usual daily life generally minding his own business, the level of the attacks are nothing short of shameful again, more proof to steer away from these loons. -

Your feelings for the former travelling overseers
by Hecce induring our wt life we met a good number of friends involved in the circuit and district work.
i am sure that we share the same experience and that we remember fondly some that we caring, loving and generally interested in the brothers.
at the same time we might remember others that were arrogant, selfish, abusive and oppressive.

Finding love as a witness
by RawrSaysTheLion inhi i'm new.. i'm going on 2yrs as a baptized witness although i've just received a reproval on the grounds of living with a wordly man unmarried for 6 months.
long story short it ended messy and i ran straight back to the witnesses because i do love jehovah and i missed my family.
my issues were only with the actual organization.. i desperately want to find someone to share my world with but i feel like i'm too tainted to be loved by anyone worthy in the truth and my morals are to high to love another boy from the world.

" I do love jeehovah"
even as a jw I found it very difficult to love a malevolent malicious, spiteful, evil minded, poisonous, perverted , bloodthirsty, malignant, vengeful,so called god, I'm sorry mam but IMO you truly do have the morals of an alley cat and I see you remaining single for some time with an attitude like that, thats why I Ieft jehovah, organization and all. Get back with your so called "worldly" guy and dump all the ridiculous expectations and conditions and live your life the way you want to live it FFS.

Dan Sydlik
by done4good inmorning warship - he was the only restraint and i'm not saying that lightly.
i know there are a dozen others here who were in bethel back in the early 2000's who know what i'm talking about.
he actually kept me thinking this was jehovah's org because of his sincerity as if the holy spirit was operating in him.

they all went to their graves blood guilty, compliant in endemic child abuse that was covered up during their reigns, and contributed or stayed silent to such dreadful life changing policies the amount of insufferable pain and misery millions have endured words cant really convey. -

TheNew World Society in Action....
by Lostandfound inback in the early 60s the phrase .
"the new world society..." was used a lot to promote assemblies and even congregations.
of course no new world has come but that saying appears to have been quietly buried along with any hope of a new world..

interesting that they seemed to drop these types of jargon, as extreme in cult speak as you can possibly go, more egg on their faces though, new system, new world order, new world, theocracy, kingdom rule etc etc, oh how they would cling onto this madness. -

The Kingdom Message
by truth doubter inregarding the unique preaching of the kingdom by wt (new creation, heavenly kings, priests and judges, restoration of paradise on earth etc.).
the scriptures seem to back up wts interpretation.
so, although there are a million reasons to become inactive, how can our conscience allow us not to become active in the work described at matt.

because the entire bible is a fraud, a scam, jesus christ (lower case on purpose) was a false prophet who duped and lied to his followers, everything from being born from a virgin birth, to raising the dead, healing the sick, feeding masses of people and performing other so called miracles is a lie and a fraud and therefore any sort of scriptural commands (none of which is original) should be treated with the contempt it deserves, my conscience allows me to do this very easily and so should yours, dont worry too much about a non event. There is no kingdom, no good news, no requirement to preach, get over it.

I'd forgot about Sydlik sitting on Dunlaps JC and that contemptible comment that spewed from his mouth, really shitty behaviour, unacceptable. -

I cant see people making these stories up, the average body of elders in most congs are not what you say "models of efficiency" an ageing group stuck in a 1970's time warp struggling to embrace new technology, dwindling members of their congregations, constantly being scammed by HQ, lack of motivation, maybe they simply cant be bothered?
