  My 14-year-old niece is being disfellowshipped

  i was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.

  she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.

  it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .

  Australia Branch to end magazine printing

  just one week from the zone overseer's visit is the announcement that the magazine production by the australia branch will end in a few months.

  the task being transferred to the japan branch.

  while i'm not 100% certain, i understand that this effectively ends all major printing bar perhaps tracts, handbills and other loose items.

  amazing if true and would surely be the end of the Australian branch, so Japan would feed all of South East Asia and Australasia ,Selters to feed all of Europe and that just leaves Africa where I dont know where the printing is done, is there a large branch in The Congo? Mexico feeds all of South America I suppose?

  he conducted himself very well perhaps rather soft on these two numbskulls I would have hit them with both barrels, the fact these two idiots spent almost two hours defending the ludicrous policy of the two witness rule etc just goes to show what a dirty,filthy,seedy organization it really is, I liked it when he claimed to be having "a crisis of conscience!"

  they always point to matthew 24:14 and say "who is accomplishing this work today?

  this proves we have the truth and gods backing".. for those of us in this community looking from the other side what is one thing that proves to you that this organization does not have gods backing?

  I've heard the same old " who else is doing the preaching work worldwide" so many times, I say well you do a form of canvassing for the WTS distributing books and magazines etc, but so do the Mormons and in fact I've had the Mormons call on me far more and I asked them to stop and they were becoming pests, and I can prove to you that you both DONT have the truth! they usually change the subject.

  Excellent Conversation At Literature Trolley

  yesterday my wife and i enjoyed one of our regular days out at edinburgh - movie, lunch, walk, meal etc.. in the late afternoon while mrs cofty went shopping i had an hour at the excellent museum of scotland and arranged to meet up outside the national gallery on princes street.

  on my way back i saw the jw trolley was at the usual spot on the royal mile.

  there was an older man and a young woman standing well back trying hard to look inconspicuous.

  it is hard to teach that the earth is flat these day do to a more informed society, and now that we have entered the information age i see a whole new ball game is before a rather ignorant bunch of old farts called the governing body.

  these guys are totally ignorant by choice and are trying desperately to keep their captive's ignorant for as long as possible.

  the gb's internet apperances are all laughable to any sane individual and a total embarasement.

  social media has changed the goalposts in unprecedented ways never seen before, not just the interweb, the ARC was streamed on YouTube live that may not have been possible 15 years ago, false username/aliases can be used by the R&F, their growth and haemorrhaging of members has been unprecedented in most of their history, the 1960's-1970's had them trapped with the 1975 nonsense, the 1980's had them salivating with the end of the millennium and the completion of the preaching work and the creators promise to be fulfilled, yet in the 1990's we saw the OLG! LOL, KH's sold,D2D almost finished, Branches sold off, meetings reduced etc the list continues, the next 10 years will be pivotal not just to them but other cults as well.
