  300 books and magazines placed outside The Shard

  hi all.. so i got a txt today from a very proud mum claiming that, the jw cart produced 300 book and magazine placements.

  mostly from foreign speakers.. the shard is the tallest building in the uk.

  this is where the cart was placed.. not a bad day they had really.

  No, as productive as walking from one end of a territory to another finding a NH at the first spot and a NH at the last spot, or driving to rural territory and driving around for hours not finding a soul at home, I sense you know that though. You know it takes almost 7000 hours to convert a jw from the D2D ?

  its incredibly busy there, very close to London Bridge Station,Guys Hospital and on Borough High Street, really one of the busiest parts of London, interesting to see how many get read then dumped, if she was to monitor the cart in my town on a high street and railway line she might see a different scenario, still sceptical though can a cart even hold a 100 rags? they are rather prone to exaggeration,twisting and outright lies as we know.

  Update on fade. Elders finally are interested on my "welfare"

  so since the last time i posted regarding my fade, you all learned that i was having some health issues.

  that came along just right to quit going to meeting without raising much suspicion.

  somehow everyone at the hall seemed ready to tell my wife they missed me but attended the memorial and no one bothered to take the initiative to back those words with actions.. i guess that having seen me at the memorial they at least felt bad because last night i got a call from one of the elders telling me they want to come today and visit with me.

  usual advice should be heeded, bar all of their numbers, do not return any messages, if they catch you unawares say nothing , dont let them invade your life with their nosey miserable so called concern with your well-being, you know far more about your own well-being than these idiots do.

  how in the world did they justify this torture?

  imagine the children forced to sit in the summer heat at yankee stadium for 12 hours a day.

  we did Punky, that old south terrace, getting pissed on! I see the AMEX and the MK Dons arena are the only two stadiums being used now in the UK for ass'emblies, I wonder for how much longer?

  wasn't born then,but as a kid attending Twickenham ( I was born in 1966) still remember those evening sessions and darkness looming over the badly lit stadium, no floodlights back then, what a H&S nightmare! how long were conventions in the 1960's early 70's? and when did they stop evening sessions?

  --well, this week's showing at the hall was the opposite, it was about death with violins playing in the background.

  a recently bereaved member, , full of tears, (like many others) could not contain herself.

  as the years past in my life as an exjw this doctrine became more and more ludicrous and truly insane, dangerously so, I never really paid too much attention to it when I was a a R&F jw, but the complete lack of any scriptural evidence for it reinforces the pipe dream that it really is , a doctrine spawned from the mind a lunatic supported and reinforced by lunatics, it is on a par with the Big A, the paradise,the playing with animals as pets that were once ferocious. When one looks at the logistics for it also ie who does and does not warrant a resurrection and when one looks at the possibility of the amount of folks that passed away through the ages plus pre Adamic existence of humans we could be looking at figures of 500 billion or so folks needing a home on this small planet, give or take a few, a massive fail!

  jw.org cart days numbered?

  reading a report of an elder in a friends cong has been hiding and spying on the pioneers who seem to have a practise of dumping the cart and finding a local coffee shop, i've noticed that they do this in my local high street as well but this week they seemed to be all huddled around the cart, they've clearly been warned, a vast percentage of the time i see they seem to be more interested in fiddling with their mobile phones and gossiping, is just seems these carts are a means for the pioneers to turn in "easy time" i wonder what sort of figures show how much literature is being taken by the public?

  i bet its very minimal.

  naturally the gb would say they are a phenomenal success , we clearly know they are not.

  interesting point Vidiot,clearly being a jw is far more easier than when I was a jw, less meeting,less assemblies, pioneer hours reduced, bethel cutbacks so no pressure on those to try and join, less literature, so much for the "life saving" message that they are meant to be commissioned to preach to the world about, I wonder if that is an official policy about trying to keep the members they have or just an unwritten one, they still haemorrhage members though.

  Well I dont know what to say about that, I certainly never knew Farrakan had those views on Mormons and JW's, what he clearly showed was unbelievable ignorance, these two are about as much a part of the kingdom of god as I am, what an idiot.

  i have never heard a politician whine like a little girl so much and claim everything to be "so unfair".. now he's trying to claim that a reporter may have been "coming at him with a bomb" (to justify his campaign manager attacking her) just because she had a pen, yes - a reporter had a pen.

  and of course he's going to sue - anytime he's criticized or loses a primary he threatens a lawsuit over it.. "she had a pen in her hand, it could of been a bomb or just a pen - which can be dangerous".

  yes mr trump, we know a female reporter writing about you if threatening.. in last nights town hall he claims *not* to have suggested suing her and seems to genuinely believe that saying something in a tweet isn't actually saying it.. on more serious and worrying subjects, he wants the us to pull out of nato and for every country in asia and the middle east to get nukes "because it's so unfair".. for someone who plays the tough guy all the time he comes across as incredibly insecure, and whines about how everything is unfair if anyone criticizes him but backs down with denials if pressed on something he has said (or claims it's "unfair" that he's been challenged).. if you don't know who mary decker is (maybe you're too young) she too represented the us and was an embarrassment on the world stage.
