  Freezing rain!!

  what percentage of jws do not agree with shunning?..or ignore it?

  i am betting over 50 percent..........oompa.

  my own mom....elders wife of forever....says she does not believe it is proper if kids were baptized!....yea mom!....too bad my dad shuns my son........oompa.

  oh...and my super good jw son does not shun me the apostadad...nor his df brother...so i bet a ton dont buy it...maybe 80%.

  I have never thought it was the right thing to do. It makes no sense to me. In fact, not long ago I called my cousin who was DF a few years ago and told her I was sorry for not speaking to her.

  I don't what the percentage is of those who don't agree with it but I'm sure it's pretty high.

  i just recieved a call that a man about my age is dying .

  he has cancer .

  anyway my mom works for his mom and he is her only living child.

  I just recieved a call that a man about my age is dying . He has cancer . Anyway my mom works for his mom and he is her only living child. I feel so mad sometimes that a loving God would continue to let these kind of things happen when he has the power to stop all the grief in the world.I know what JW"S have always taught, in his own good time this will end,, well I want it to end now!! To me it's cruel to have the power to do something about all of this misery and then let it continue.Just had to get this off my chest!!!

  i'm making potato soup for my daughter and her family, they've all been sick.

  anyway, what are some of your favorite comfort foods that make you feel so much better or seem so good on a cold day?.

  Snakes, I don't really have a recipe, I just throw everything in the pot.But here's what I used today.

  6 or 7 potatos cut into tiny pieces.

  onion flakes

  cook until potatos are tender, then add milk and butter, salt and a little black pepper to taste.

  It's very simple to make but so good with some sliced cheddar cheese and hot bread. Yummy!

  I might keep some for myself.

  Fresh or Frozen?

  i love my veggies - there's so much variety.. i cannot eat frozen veggies!

  the last time i tried i ... well i didn't eat them.

  i can handle frozen sweetcorn though.

  I've heard both about vegetables. But I don't think there's much difference in the nutritional value, the frozen just tastes fresher so we automatically think they are better for us.
