  we're having our first major rain in northern california.

  firewood has been gathered for wood stoves, gas furnaces are firing and my closets are spewing.. i'm making a list of indoor activities to stave off cabin fever ... it's dark by 5:30 p.m.. what are your projects?.

  Religion

  is there anyway to verify any religion as having the truth?

  is it just a feeling some have that they get from believing something "spiritual" caused them to have a relationship with a god.. the preacher of the church that my wife and i attend said that jesus was god today.

  i was reading in the bible about how jesus would leave his disciples to pray.

  To put it in JW terminology- Religion is a racquest and a snare. I believe man has corrupted religion. Yes, I do believe in a God and as you said, all you have to do is look at nature and you can feel a closeness with God. I do believe the bible has some merit but even that has been tampered with over the centuries.

  Listen to be honest, I do not give a rats ass. I have way to much going on to care or for that matter to give this anymore thought. However, it must really be bugging you, stop taking this so personally. We all have opinions and I have voiced mine, end of discussion. If you like Obama fine, that is your right. I do not care for him which is my right. Oh yea -I do not like his nappy hair either.
