do they give various reasons why they cant ie you live too far away, but visit jw family who live a lot further away . and even try top blame you for the lack of contact ! but they never say its the society that dont allow us to visit you ! if they believe its the truth and a valid reason not to visit children and granchildren why dont they" shout it from the rooftops " and stop saying things like "oh we cant visit you because you dont live on the way to anyone we visit " !!!!!! my husband is disfellowshipped and so is his sister and their parents havnt bothered for ages ! wish people would just say " we would love to visit but we must obey orders !"

yes, my daughter has mental health problems due to childhood abuse by a ex min servant , they can not help the way they are just as physically disabled people cant help the way they are ! and either problem could happen to any one of us at anytime , ie car accidents could cause us to be disabled , losing a child (god forbid ) rape and childhood abuse can cause mental health problems , we should show compassion to everyone !

by looloo inthis man is a ex minservant who was disfellowshipped years ago for an affair with his daughters friend (he married the girl eventually ) about 5 years before he was disfellowshipped he was reprooved for child sex abuse and kept in the cong ,then went on to abuse again another jw girl (that didnt get found out about at the time .
) a few years after that he abused my child , a non jw in court he was only sentenced for a few "smaller " charges but got off with a lot of things concerning all 3 victims which he had denied !
all the victims had not seen eachother in years and stories colloberated with eachother !

how can elders go along with that and not feel its wrong ? amazing ! i was lied to then because they told me they would let me know if he admitted it , if so they must have just been trying to keep me "sweet " because of me being worldly and thefact that potentiallyi could have caused quite a stir ! well my conscience is clean concerning that matter ! i bet theirs isnt !

another family destroyed by jehovahs happy organization
by Evidently Apostate inas i sit down and type this i have realized that if i could have seen into the future and known that this post would need to be created (for my own peace of mind anyway) i know i would have never given the jws a minute of my time.
a little background: i have been a jw for 20 years and found a wonderful woman in the religion she was a pioneer when i met her, an elders girl but that did not matter to me , it was and always has been her compassion and love for people that endeared me to her and we have been happily married for almost my 20 year tenure as a jw.
we have several children one of them is a teenage boy.

"out the mouth of babes " my six year olds opinion of shunning !
by looloo inwalking back from town today we saw two old ladys and i said "good morning" my child said " are those ladys the ones in that religion that come and talk to you about something but i dont know what ?
" i said they were not but she started to ask about grandma again(jw grandma that has not visited for 18 months , her disfellowshipped dads mother .
) it was quite difficult to answer some of her questions and i told her daddy and i dont want to be in the religion because they dont let you see your family who leave the religion (amongst other reasons !
