i feel for you , i know my sis inlaw gets married either today or tom (dnt know exactly as our invite must have got lost in the post !) my husband is her brother but is disfellowshipped and we have a little girl who is 6 but not invited either . it is less than an hour away from us and im sure my hubby will find it hard tom thinking of his little sis who only started shunning him after getting engaged despite the fact he got disfellowshipped 14 years ago ! another sibling has obviously got an invite with her 6 yearold though and she lives hundreds of miles away ! and im sure uncle child molester will have an invite too ! what a sad religion , but i just think its their loss not ours and my 6 year old will be bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in may despite having only met her once , simply because she is family and thats what you do ! (distance is the reason shes only met her once ) if i was you i would be tempted to go up chatting to people so they can not shun you unless they are very rude ! gud luck either way !

My brothers wedding...
by IronHill in...is today.
he stated to me that he really wanted me to attend the ceremony, so me and lorijis will be attending the ceremony this evening.
i dont know if we'll be ready for all of the shunning that will occur, but i want to be there and so does he.. the funny thing is we never received an invitation or anything to let us know about the wedding.

cancer.....wanted to warn you....
by peaches inmy aunt is self supportive...runs a self employed catering service...healthy and active...went to bed one night,,,,woke up with a sore chest....she thought she had pulled a muscle...so...gave it a few days to heal.....no improvement.... went to the doctor,,,,,they ran some tests,,,,and found out she is full of cancer...it is in her breast,,,lungs,,,liver....they told her she has about 4 to 6 months to live...nothing they can do for her..... she is just a wonderful person,,,,and i love her alot...i told her god loves her,,,and that heaven was a wonderful place...i said nothing about "earth"...i told her death is only hard on the living...and sent her big hugs...... this is really disturbing because she had no symptoms....none...she felt fine...i did not want this to happen to any of you...so,,,guys and gals,,,check for lumps and bumps...get the yearly physicals,,,mamo-grams,,,pap smears...prostrate..etc etc.... we always think it would never happen to us or a loved one...but...it so easily could....peaches .

ive lived here 18 months and has quite a few mormon experiances but only 2 jw ones , it appears the mormons are spreading the word more than jws !
do they believe in armageddon ?.

she has had a lot of help by a psyciatrist , counsellor etc but is no better so what can i do to help ?

i knew a pioneer girl who was involved with(not physically ) with a lad a couple of years older than her from about 13 and everyone presumed they would get married once they were old enough to court . during her late teens she went off to bethel for a visit and then started courting a bro from there and married not long after , a year later it came out that her husband had abused lots of kids in the congregation and he got sent to prison , made me wonder what the 1st boyfriend made of that as he was considered not good husband material !!!!!!!!!!

truthlover and ziddina im afraid we got not no justice , as in 2005 when she was 17 (4 years after abuse ) she finally admitted to me that the man who i had always had a "gut feeling" about had actually abused her , i reported him to the police and two more victims , by now aged about 30 came forward , investigation went on for ages and he was charged with 14 charges against 3 girls between the 80s and 2002 while a min servant he had abused 1 st girl and had been just reprooved leaving him free to rape and abuse in the cong again and after he was disfellowshipped for an affair with another young pioneer he eventually raped my girl . we waited 20 months to get to court only to be told my girls charges had to be dropped due to lack of evidence but not to worry as they would get him for the other 2 victims we were gutted ! the defence did a deal with prosecuters and he admitted 4 charges and 10 more were dropped in an exchange for a guilty plea , in court the defence made out my girl made up the allegations as she knew about his previous victims !!!!!! and his wife (my ex best friend ) said as far as she was concerned what he had done to the 1st 2 victims was in "the past " and she did not believe my girl despite her mentioning abuse happening in the same remote places that victim 2 mentioned despite not seeing eachother for years , their statements matched ! she was called a liar aswell as the other victims by his family and wishes she had never bothered rporting it , we went to hell and back all for nothing but public humiliation , as even though victims arnt named many did know who she was . molester was given 3 years in prison then came back to town and got the job back off his boss who believed him , was i mad and left town !yy

peaches , she has a Social worker at the moment and yes i agree with you about getting her off the psych ward , she also told me she loves going for walks with the women patients and told me she has more in common with them than the staff ! i dont think its a good idea doing that kind of work as even though she wants to help people with problems , i feel she has enough on her plate coping with her own problems without dealing with other peoples , but she needs to be busy x

thankyou all so much for your advice , i will chat with her on thursday about her options on where to go from here . a spereisnotacircle thankyou so much for saying im a great mom it means a lot as i havnt felt like a great mum as i did not keep my child safe from harm and im so gratefull to my girl for never blaming me for getting involved with jehovahs witnesses , which indirectly led to her abuse . heaven yes i will look into hypnotherapy , thanks , baby girl30 thanks for sharing your story , was your mum any help to you ? blondie thankyou for your well informed information as always ! thanks and kind regards x
