i just disassociated myself after nine long years in the wtbts after researching the history of the wtbts and its founders and their lies, false prophecies and mind-control doctrines.

read my profile for more about that.

anyway, i'm glad there is a wonderful support group for those who have escaped the grasp of the wtbts and enjoy life again without the constant fear that the wtbts instills at every meeting.

Does anyone on this site have any doubts that the Society is going backwards on the subject of college?

That it's now back to being strongly discouraged again?

change in this organization because anyone suggesting such change would be immediately accused of

there were gasps after watching this.

i heard the anti college talks at the dc this year, and while many people i know didnt agree with them, this following video stunned many of them.

there are many people on this forum, many have gotten to where they are many different ways.

This is one of the topics that really bothers me. How can the WT doesn't want people to go to college? I'm pretty sure that if the Society needs more attorneys for the Legal Department, they will pay for the tuition... Hypocrites.

I finished my BS some months ago, and received a good salary increase recently.

I said it to every teenager: GO TO COLLEGE!!

Definitively, Internet was the vehicle that opened my mind. I've been having doubts for years, but when I started a real research of my beliefs, then I noticed the lies. Reading the bible in context helped me too to notice the manipulations.

i dont know about you, but this is one of the most difficult issues of being a jw (at least for me).

as we were living on a spiritual paradise (totally unreal), we used to believe everything the gb said without questions.

i was not going to get old, or go to high school, or go to college or get married and the "big a" was going to finish the "wicked system" ... and them we were going to have a paradise earth forever.... .
