Beautiful song, sweetpea. Nice to read you feel that you* The song who sums up the way I feel now...and the way I want to feel forever:-) Never surrender...Corey Hart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QudbMsi1kds Just a little more time is all we're asking for Cause just a little more time could open closing doors Just a little uncertainty can bring you down And nobody wants to know you now And nobody wants to show you how So if you're lost and on your own You can never surrender And if your path won't lead you home You can never surrender And when the night is cold and dark You can see, you can see light Cause no-one can take away your right To fight and never surrender With a little perserverence you can get things down Without the blind adherence that has conquered some And nobody wants to know you now And nobody wants to show you how So if you're lost and on your own You can never surrender And if your path won't lead you home You can never surrender And when the night is cold and dark You can see, you can see light Cause no-one can take away your right To fight and never surrender, to never surrender. *summer*
Sorry you all...it's me...I win*
Worldy Andre feels like a JW knocking on a screen door...
I feel like a JW knocking on an open door:-)
But I'm happy:-)
*summer*
most of the people i've met since i left don't know that i spent years of my life as a door knocker.. i have very dear friends who don't know.
i've even had lovers who didn't know.
my last partner knew, and found it vaguely amusing.. i guess i find it deeply embarrassing, although over the years it's become easier to mention it.
I am not a JW so I am not too sure my post applies. In any case...
I was having company last weekend...very good friends. And I made a point of putting away and out of sight everything JW related...Bible, books, magazines...EVERYTHING!!! I did not want anyone to see it.
I think it speaks for itself...

two hours later his wife found him.
aneurysm of the aorta.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

A time to reflect on the preciousness of life...
