IMHO, homosexual behavior among boys at least is pure fallout from divorce, which is also condemned, as mothers cannot teach boys how to be men.
Wow! Fortunately, your humble opinion is unlikely to influence anybody else's, but what on earth do you base this on? Certainly there's no evidence to support such a view; homosexual tendencies appear to be primarily inborn, and when adjusted for economic status, there's no real difference between children raised by one parent or by two. So did you just make it up? Isn't there enough of a problem with bigotry against minorities without you making up nonsense as well?

You're right Lil, the Bible doesn't condone such behavior. It condemns it along with certain other practices that are treated as parlor games.
Good point. It's unbelievable that people are still using those ancient scribblings as a moral guide. As you point out the bible condemns a lot of other harmless practices, such as wearing mixed fibres, shaving, and going outside on a Saturday while condoning rape, slavery and genital mutilation of infants.
Rom 1:32 "Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."
When people are taught such nonsense as if it is not only true but the very word of God, then it's no surprise that sometimes people follow "God's righteous decree" with tragic consequences for teenagers like Lawrence King.
It would be nice if those who quote the bible to justify their behaviour could at least look at the words of Jesus who was much less bloodthirsty than most of the other characters therein. Matthew 7:1-5 would be a good start.
from where did existence come from?
in what period of time did existence appear???
wait a minute...how can existence come from nothing...when you cannot get nothing from nothing?

Good on you for doing your part. Of course, if it stopped at the odd bit of namecalling, it probably wouldn't be worth such a dramatic protest. But anti-gay bigotry in schools often extends to physical assault, and even murder.

That sounds like a great initiative. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, freydi. It's a pity that such a campaign is still necessary but bigotry is hard to eradicate.
i think it's time for my kind of sunday talk.

So both a totally mind controled jw and a totally duped citizen will believe everything that their authorities tell them is the truth and treat everything else, no matter how overwhelming, as coming from weirdos and apostates.
Actually, no. Both the JW and the conspiracy theorist believe that what we're being told, what virtually everybody accepts is not really true, but that rather, there is a sinister and covert operation involving virtually everybody in the world which only the privileged few really know about. They balk at how ordinary citizens can go about their day-to-day lives without being in constant fear of Satan the Devil or the Bilderburg group, depending on their delusion.
