  Wanna See Some Pics?

  well, we got a new digital camera and took it on our little jaunt to orlando, so i thought i'd share a few with you.. we went to this dinner theater where they dress up as knights and do the whole jousting and sword fighting thing.

  since we had two teenage boys with us...it was their idea of a fun evening.

  Hi Sam,

  I was certified through a hypnosis school. There is more info at http://www.newlifedynamics.com/aboutdk.htm. I am also recognized as a Certified Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest and oldest association of its kind.

  I want to point out that I am not a licensed mental health therapist. I simply help people to change themselves for the better through hypnosis, which consists of deep relaxation, guided imagery, possitive suggestion, and visualization.

  Hi Sam,

  So far, my hypnosis techniques have been very successful, but then again, I just opened my practice a month ago. I am very encouraged by the results I've had so far.

  I think I have been lucky with great clients so far. From what I understand, it is not uncommon for Hypnotherapists to get an 80-90% success rate in stopping smoking.

  I have only worked with one weight loss client so far, and she lost about 5 lbs in a little over a week. Not too bad.

  I actually focus on helping my client change their view of eating, and then reinforce it with hypnosis.

  Hypnotism

  has any one here ever been hypnotised?.

  i'm intrested in whether there is a link to repetative meetings and book studies and hypnotism.. hypnosis is defined as a "sleep like state in which people are open suggestion and will act how they are told to.".

  can this wok over a long term period , such as the years in the "truth' or only on a short term basis like in a hypnotists show?.

  Hi Sleepy,

  I recently got my certification as a Hypnotherapist/Hypnotist. You raise some very interesting ques-tions.

  I firmly believe that the WTS are masters at Hypnotism.

  My area is Clinical Hypnosis. I have a website that answers many questions about Hypnosis, http://www.newlifedynamics.com/faq.htm . This should answer some of your questions.

  One thing about hypnosis in general is that you cannot be made to do something not in line with your beliefs and values.

  Brainwashing on the other hand is prolonged exposure to different beliefs. JW's are conditioned over a long time to believe as they do, and even embrace things such as shunning and blood abstinence that simply make no sense to a rational adult.

  I vaguely remember the name Throckmorton, but can't place them. Sorry.

  It's been a long time since I was there. I do remember Sebrees, Russell Smith, and some others.

  Tammy Berkner lived there for several years, but has moved to Phoenix and married. Her brother Dwayne was also there and married Dent Peterson's daughter. Don't know if he is still there.

  I was in the Job drama in Louisville, KY in 1985. The cast was from Evansville. Can't remember too many names tho.
