There is an option at the bottom of this posting in The Sun to submitt a response.. I did so and it was accepted.. perhaps others can do so as well. Copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007390280,00.html
I have pasted my response below: Judge spares 'evil monster' jailIt is absolutely appalling that this Judge allowed this pedophile to go free instead of putting him in jail where he would not be able to further victimize innocents.
Who will protect the innocent children now? The Jehovah's Witness church is known to protect abusers amongst them, if a court of law will not protect society against such abusers, who will? This man could return to his church, spend a short time under discipline, then carry on abusing more innocents without anyone knowing he is a pedophile.
Proof of this religion protecting these abusers can be read in Barbara Andersons new book Secrets of Pedophilia in an American Religion, Jehovahs Witnesses in Crisis. -

I would suggest certain posters on here with their own agendas are rubbing their hands with glee when they see something like this.
Each time I read of another incident of this horrific cover up within the JW church, I shake with fury over the many lives that have been damaged by their cover ups, they the JW church are "protecting their own agenda".
I do not rub my hands with glee as you so sarcastically quoted.
I do though thank the media for exposing the secrets of pedophilia perpetrated by those within the JW church. The more exposure the better! Exposure will eventually out those within this church who have committed these crimes for many years, and continue to do so.
This church has alot to answer for, for the many years of coverups that have protected the abusers from the public eye, allowing them due to this to continue their sick victimization of more children.

Bad Dream
by PoppyR in4am in the uk, and i was jolted awake by a dream about my mother dying, she is not in good health.
i felt overwhelmingly sad that if this happens, she will die in sadness over me.
and also very upset because she is my mum and i want her to love me and be interested in my life and that just isn't the case any longer.. i realise i am 'luckier' than some on here because at least she speaks to me.

(((poppy))) Sorry you have such nightmares.. Im prone to them myself! Although not as bad as it used to be..
You can't change them.. nor who you are.. and you can't feel guilty for living your life the way you believe you should.
I wish peacefull sleeps for you..

Thank you for sharing this! Barbara Anderson's Cd and the Silent Lambs constant endeavor to expose these evil ones will result in more and more being exposed over time.
I hope all those who have committed such evil crimes are inwardly shaking with fear of exposure, it is only a matter of time for most of them!
I have other wishes for these (ba*@&rds) but it would be to graphic to express here

Fun family study? Tolerable?
by Gopher inwas there ever such at thing in jw families, or is this phrase oxymoronic?.
sometimes the meetings encouraged "variety" in family studies, assigning certain research projects to different family members, or setting up a bible reading as though it were a play.. none of that happened in my family.
it was just dry question-and-answer.

Family studies were just another time to control and frighten.. most family studies happened on the way home from a meeting, continuing into the evening or day. It was inevitable that someone would get beat for not remembering quite enough.
Now in my little family, my daughter and I read together all the time.. and still do.. all kinds of books.. books on life.. growing, ect ect. It is a lovely time that promotes thought, discussion, personal opinions and sharing.

I'm an atheist, so why does some religious music move me so much?
by nicolaou ini often find myself playing george harrison's 'my sweet lord' while i'm at my pc and i can't help but resonate with his genuine, heartfelt devotion, his appeal to christ or krishna.
the way he opens and pours out his heart to his 'lord' is inspiring.
a while back, i went to a catholic church to see two friends renew their wedding vows.

I have questioned this within myself as well, but now I just enjoy. Music touches the soul in many ways, depending on the style.
Although not religious at the time, while in Vancouver, I took my daughter to see the Vancouver Symphony's Easter concert at the Orpheum, it was incredibly beautiful! I saw it as a beautiful Art and Cultural experience for her to enjoy as well as myself.
I adore Ave Maria, I too always feel incredibly emotional when I listen to it.. shivers run through me. Another beautiful fave is The Prayer done by Andrea Bocelli and Celion Dion...
Hope its ok to share a link to these songs:
