1983 Australia Gov. Body member Lyod Barry promises NO change to 1914!

listening to the australia bethel dedication talks 1983 {avalible on cassette} loyd barry of the governing body tells of how an old missionary brother aproached him and said: "the society can change any doctrine they want...but please brother, don't change the doctrine regarding 1914.

" {he had hoped to live thru to paradise} loyd responds: "brothers, we have no intension of changing the 1914 doctrine.".

remember this was just after raymond franz handed out to the governing body members, copies of an article written by an elder dis-proving 607 and 1914....i think in 1979.. so, after loyd barry died, in 1993, the 1914 generation theory was thrown out...that missionary had long since died.

thanks for that I wonder if you could post the record numbers that you have. Some of the mp3's I have don't correspond with the numbering that you are putting next to the speeches. I'm sure that your numbers are the correct ones. or a link to a complete list. thanks

Yes, I am not to sure what is going on there either. The link I posted to the ''Fascism or Freedom'' records, is the same as the booklet. Well the same as the first 35 pages of it anyway. After that it is on Theocracy.

Harvest SIftings Part II - PDF Download

okay everyone, here is the latest pdf file to add to your library.

over the holiday weekend i was cleaning out a storage room where i keep boxes and boxes of watchtower literature and came across harvest siftings (part ii), dated oct. 1, 1917. it was authored by j. f. rutherford and is "a reply to the paper called "light after darkness.

" which was written by the four ousted directors.. while i have an original copy of this paper, i have yet to find it, this pdf was made from a photocopy i made for research, as i didn't want to damage the original.

I would love to be able to see some of Roy's work as well please. He must have been a real thorn in Rutherford's side .
