Today's Study - Shun Disfellowshipped Family, Don't Marry Outsiders, Tell On Others!
by Divergent inurghhh... what a disgusting study!7 a conflict of loyalties may arise when a close relative is disfellowshipped.
for example, a sister named anne received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.
the mother wanted to visit anne because she felt pained by her isolation from the family.

This is absolutely disgusting information from the WT Society. It's emotional blackmail - so now we know where our JW relatives learn these barbaric, criminal attitudes. It comes down and starts at the top of the WT organization. And filters down into the core soul of most all JW's. The few JW's who DO socialize with dfed relatives have to do it secretly or they'll be an accounting to congregation elders. Such a messed up organization -

Those who live their lives according to writings 2000-4000 years ago , how insane is that.?
by smiddy inwhen you think about it , in this 21st century of enlightenment , the explosion of information technology in all fields imaginable , yet the majority of humans of all faiths live their lives according to ancient scriptures / writings etc.for a world long past its use by date.. the bible says" faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for " none of the expectations hoped for in the jehovah`s witness religion ever eventuated , and neither has it in any other faith .. faith , of no matter what belief , is the carrot on the end of a stick leading the gullible on , and on , and on .and on.. smiddy.

Oh, man, it just blows me away how such a majority of the human race is superstitious.
It's everywhere! Swear on the bible, in god we trust...
Written by primitive tribal people - how convenient that in some of the stories some guy did horrible things, but if he sucked up to God it was ok.

Wifibandit- Would you be able to send the PDF of your Massachusetts WT letter of 2002 to the bodies of elders you made a thread about to Irwin Zalkin's law firm before this San Diego court date tomorrow ? Can you E-mail the PDF to his firm ? I'm sure he would use it appropriately in order to prove the WT Society IS aware of the laws- they have just ignored the laws about reporting . Hopefully you can. Take care , Peace out, Mr. Flipper -

This is important. WIFI- I hope Irwin Zalkin the attorney in the Campos case in San Diego , California has a copy of this WT Society letter to the elders to PROVE that communication WAS sent to elders in 2002 to do mandatory reporting- yet in the state of Massachusetts through the years this was NOT done by WT appointed elders I would venture to say. As well as other states that require mandatory reporting P.S. Edited to add - WIFIBANDIT - Is there anyway you can send this PDF to Zalkin's law firm TODAY ? As tomorrow Friday they are having this San Diego court appearance to re-try the WT Society for it's negligence in following court orders to supply any child abuse information ? I bet Zalkin could use this info appropriately. -

April is child abuse prevention month
by StarTrekAngel inat least here in texas.
in the building where i work, there is a big poster board and people are putting signatures down on it.
i was thinking about printing something similar to the billboard that was up in benton, tx and adding to the board.

In actuality - I think every month of the year should be " Child abuse prevention month " -

" Any other ideas or thoughts " ? Yes, what Data-Dog said. He's right, this is war on child abuse within not only the JW organization but all high control organizations.
The last 2 months I have been regularly tacking up on billboards and information boards the JW Facts.com & " Australia JW 1,000 cases of molesters not reported " printouts at two supermarket stores - one in our area - another an hour south of our area where I work. Sometimes they will stay up there a week without being taken down by somebody - other times just a few days. But that's O.K. I've printed out 20 to 30 copies each, it's not expensive. If I see a JW or someone has taken it down- I just tack up some new printouts. Pretty easy.
Let's stay active people ! THIS is important. Not whether Prince died or however much money he left to whomever. If JW's have the right to freedom of speech and keep coming back to our doors- WE EX-JW'S have the same right to freedom of speech to expose criminal child abuse within the WT Society and JW organization. If they take your printouts down- put more back up ! You never know WHO will see the information or read it on a supermarket message board. Data Dog is right- this is a war against child abuse and it's a war against criminal organizations like the WT Society who allow such abuse to go unreported to police. It's something we all can do to get a message across

Throughout this whole WT child abuse fiasco in my opinion the most telling reason the WT leaders do NOT want to disclose exact names in the courts of JW pedophiles on the database list of 20,000 or so is because that list has the names of WT leaders and higher ups in the organization- many of them. To WT leaders they'd rather pay out the 13.5 million $$$$ in " hush " money in order to keep bad publicity out of any worldwide media - because if these higher up WT names leak out into the press- THEN it may actually start being the WT Society's downfall. U.S. Marshal authorities may get involved like they did in the Warren Jeff' s case with the Mormon church and the FBI might start interrogating WT leaders. And WT leaders do NOT want that.
WT leaders have already seen how poorly GB members represent their organization on witness stands. Example : Geoff Jackson in Australia. In the U.S. if you put " tight pants " Anthony Morris, Losch, or god forbid Stephen Lett on a court witness stand- god only knows what crazy stuff will pour out of their mouths. So this is another angle ; I think the WT legal department really doesn't trust the ability of any current GB members to testify without blowing it for them. But WT leaders are already blowing it by being arrogant and refusing " Caesar's courts " information concerning WT child abuse. Makes them even look guiltier like they have something to hide. But, oh that's right they- DO have something to hide that will cost them hundreds of millions $$$$$$ . Weirdos.
Peace out, Mr. Flipper

If Prince had an addiction to prescriptions drugs, it's a personal matter but if I want to grow a beard or attend college, it's not.
by ToesUp ininteresting article i found about prince and the jw religion.
i guess they are trying to get their 15 minutes of fame.
i find it disturbing that the elder stated if prince had an addiction to prescription drugs, that is a personal matter but the hundreds of intrusive jw rules like going to college (not scriptural) and growing a beard (also not scriptural) are not also considered a personal choice.

Prince's addictions to painkillers was considered a " personal matter " by this elder because Prince probably donated hundreds of thousand of $$$$ of " gifts of mercy " - for all other rank & file JW's addiction to painkillers would mean a hot seat in a judicial committee. Double standards - much ? Ridiculous -

the Guardians of Doctrine - What was your view of GB 1.0?
by berrygerry inwhen i was an all-in, younger, somewhat uber-dub - i envisioned the governing body as spending 16 to 18 hours a day at the bethel library, with their noses in the bible and associated research books.
sky-j was propelling his holy spirit directly at them, maybe opening the book to the right page or paragraph, and zap, new light.. when i learned that these dudes only met on wednesday mornings, for as little as 10 minutes, and spent the rest of their time managing and traveling, it was quite a letdown.. anyone have such thoughts of our guardians of doctrine?.

I always thought most of them were arrogant , pompous assholes. " Legends in their own mind ". And then when the likes of Ted Jaracz came along- in time I came to believe these WT GB men should be brought up on criminal charges of " crimes against humanity ". In other words- I was never impressed -

Jehovah's Witness Church Release Statement
by truthseekeriam in"we are saddened to hear about the death of prince rogers nelson, who was baptized as one of jehovah’s witnesses in 2003," the church said in a statement obtained by people.
the church said that prince "found fulfillment as a witness and in sharing his faith with others.

When you really analyze this " press release " from the WT Society- it really is unprecedented in their 137 year history since 1879 - I believe. To publicly in a major news publication come out and offer condolences to ANY famous celebrity's friends or family - JW or no JW. At least by name.
My theory is this, two things are happening here I think :
1. WT Society is trying to cast itself in a " positive " light in a PR and marketing way to the public due to the fact that most of any media coverage of the WT organization is always negative- especially with regards to the last several years of WT child abuse scandals making national media either in print or television, or Internet broadcasts.
2. The other point is if in fact he WAS having to rely on subscription pain medicine for his health and refused to get hip surgery due to the " no blood " WT policy- it served as a good excuse for the WT Society to say that they were unaware of Princes condition or health situation- thus exonerating the WT Society of any responsibility for medical decisions Prince might have made for himself.
WT Society comes out appearing scot free to the public of any responsibility for what happened to Prince. In THEIR mind anyway. Kind of how my wife and I see this after talking it over
