Been really busy with out of town guests dropping by this last week and a half, finally can catch up ! Wanted to bump this up in connection with Minimus's thread so newer exiting JW's can read how huge a problem child abuse is within the JW organization.

VIRGOCHIK- Isn't it disgusting how the elders minimize the criminality of JW elders or ministerial servants having sex with minor children ? And I've seen it too in the JW organization where a JW woman will stay with her husband after he's molested a minor child or molested a number of minor children. What possesses a wife to do this ? In answer to your opening thread, YES, I think there's a good chance he'll be impeached. By the time the Mueller investigation wraps up, the mid term elections will have occured - and the house of representatives & senate will have flipped to a majority of democrats.

Therefore should be plenty of votes to impeach him. If he's not impeached , it may end up like president Nixon in 1974 and so much incriminating evidence against him and his dishonest administration will have been released and exposed - that he'll be forced or feel pressure enough to resign while still president.

Although resigning doesn't seem to fit Trump's personality. He's a malignant narcissist so he cannot get enough of himself in person or in the media. He wants to be the fixture of everybody's attention. So he will probably try to fight the allegations and show even more so how foolish and malignant a narcissist he is. He cannot or will not EVER admit to a mistake - and he blames EVERYONE else for whatever happens to him.

Which is one big reason McCabe is now meeting with the Mueller investigative team. McCabe doesn't want to be blamed and be the fall guy for Trump's mess, much in the same way John Dean didn't want to be blamed and be the fall guy for Nixon's mess.

By the time this is all said and done in 2019, I'm thinking we'll have a new president with Pence ( unfortunately a staunch religious nut ) to finish up Trump's administration to the election in 2020. Which the democrats will most probably win. Kind of how I see all this going. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

i was recently given a gift of ancestry.com and i’m curious if anyone else has used this service?.

I did the 23 & Me testing for DNA about 5 years ago and have done Ancestry.com research for over 5 years now. I've gone back over 500 years on my mom's side, in some of her lineage I've gone back 800 to 1,000 years. Gone back about 500 years on my dad's side, but can only get back to old Wales in the mid 1700's on his dad's side, but a lot further on his mom's side to Ireland 500 years. Found English, Scottish, French, Spanish royalty from the 1200's to 1500's on my mom's side and some Irish as well.

For me the percentages work out 53 % British & Scottish & Irish, 10 % German, 7 % French, 7 % Scandinavian ( Norwegian ) , 2 % Spanish, 1.7 % Balkan, .03 % Native American, .01 % African , .02 East Asian . That's pretty accurate with the research I've done as well.

How it's changed my life ? Well, I've been able to actually meet in person , talk on the phone, and E-mail new relatives that I never knew existed before. And they're pretty decent people ! People you would want to get to know ! And the research part is fantastic. I've always been interested in history and on the Ancestry website, millions of people all around the world have put history that you get access to use. Really cool information can be learned about relatives hundreds of years ago. It kind of brings them to life at least in your consciousness ! I totally recommend doing ancestry.com. BAD_WOLF- Wow. So sorry to hear that you knew of many young ones being molested in the JW organization. 50 % of the young ones you knew ? That's a lot of abuse victims !

This WT organization's leaders need to be held accountable , it's disgusting. There have probably at this point been hundreds of thousands of child abuse victims worldwide in the WT Society's 139 year history since 1879. Peace out, Mr. Flipper

LV101- Hey, yeah, thanks. Yeah, we've all suffered way too much with this JW cult. You and me both are confused as to why the government won't crack down on religions like the Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholics, etc. when it comes to child abuse. The US government lets freedom of religion evolve into criminality - and they still won't do anything to condemn criminal conduct by religions. It's like all organized religions get a free pass on criminal conduct. I totally agree with you that it's barbaric that the government doesn't demand religions obey the law. I mean- just think of how many JW's have died through the years due to the " no blood " transfusion policies. A good guess would be thousands of JW's worldwide have died due to WT leaders policies. And how much or how accountable has the government held WT Society liable for those deaths ? ZERO. So we do have the government to blame to a fair extent for not holding religions liable as much as necessary. Peace out, Mr. Flipper
