  Memorial mixed emotions...

  does anyone else feel 'pulled back in' at this time of year?.

  i still consider myself to a believer, believe in god and jesus christ, on the whole i think he taught tolerance, love, acceptance and i think we can benefit from following his example.

  i love ray franzs book in search of christian freedom.

  I respect people who feel they might still believe in the Bible or have the need for believing in Jesus. I'm just not one of those people who need to believe in it because I feel I've already saved myself.

  I'm the one who escaped from a mind control cult teaching fantasy and unrealities. With the help of sites like this one, reading books like Ray Franz's books and Steve Hassan's books and much access to information that helped me gain freedom of mind- I have no need of a savior. I saved myself by educating myself. Now these last almost 13 years or so I have a bright new perspective on life- without what I would consider superstitious beliefs. But if others feel they need it- that's up to them, it's freedom of choice in this world we live in

  Utterly disgusting. Thanks for posting this Orphan Crow. WT Society needs to be exposed for the abusive organization it is and the abusive WT leaders it has needs to be exposed.

  With statistics showing that about 66 % or 2/3rds of JW youth under 18 DO leave the JW organization- WT Society leaders are DESPERATE to try reaching minor children anyway they can. Stupid cartoons with mazes in them. Cartoons about ice cream , demonic play toys- you know " ordinary " stuff like that. And in the midst of it all trying to make children feel " odd " or like they are " missing out " if they don't join Sophie and give to " Jehovah " ( AKA WT Society ) their allowance money, or any money they have. It's like , " Screw your college education kids ! Let's realize our priorities in giving for " Kingdom interests " ( AKA WT Society interests ) so you'll have a " future " with " God's " organization . " Makes me want to vomit.

  The more all of us talk openly to non-JW's and expose this crap- the more people will slam the door in the faces of these mind controlled drones out in service. I hope the whole organization goes down in flames some day

  If the watchtower has declared so many things "demonic" or "pagan" in origin - wouldn't a maze fit into that category without a lot of effort? I know that labyrinths have become popular with some modern day Christians with a bit of New Age bent. Oh, the horror- Christendom!

  My JW Daughter sends a Letter to us Explaining her Shunning of Me

  my wife and i sent my 22 yr.old pioneer witness daughter and her husband a anniversary card and $ 40.00 and flowers the end of april.

  my daughter wrote mrs. flipper and me each our own individual letters thanking us initially for the gifts - and then went into detail as to why she has not spoken to me for over a year and shunned me.. keep in mind as i paraphrase some of the highlights to these letters that the only negative thing i have said about the organization to my daughter in 3 years was to show her the ap news release about the child abuse settlements by the wt society .

  from the time i was a small boy - i loved rock n' roll music.

  beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, hendrix.

  i started getting slighted for the music i listened to as i lay in my bedroom listening on headphones to led zeppelin's song " black dog " at age 14 with my elder dad looking suspiciously at me as i'm rocking out .

  The " rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. " THAT is what the corporate leaders want, THAT is what the 1 % want , THAT is what the wealthy elite Republican leaders want - in order to keep people in their allegedly " proper place and pecking order ".

  Wall street wants poorer people " dumbed down " so they won't see through the veneer that is Hillary & Trump as they know these people are desperate and won't do the research needed to see that their lives are being duped by billionaire elitists. That's one reason Trump stated in a victory speech about a month ago , " We LOVE the undereducated " ! He doesn't actually love THEM ! He loves that they are UNDEREDUCATED because they won't bother to call him on his shit !

Same concept for those who think Hillary and Trump are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Nothing is further from the truth.   Time to take a SERIOUS look at Bernie Sanders and how he actually has financed his own campaign instead of whoring himself out to the corporates and global elitists who want to crush the poor. Sanders is a much better choice for president

  Very good news. As Punk says - the WT Society needs to continue to be exposed regarding their faulty child abuse policies. Sounds like that's going to happen. It just may get delayed somewhat due to having to go to the different court to bicker over which documents the WT Society will have to release- but it does sound like it's going forward. May justice prevail
