  There you have the scriptures quoted that they will use to justify this. Now we need to prepare scriptural quotes overcoming these scriptures and I know there are some. The Bible is amazing in that it can take almost anything and show both sides of the coin.

  ive never been a jw, im just invloved with one.. so ive become a regular lurker and full time opposer.. i spend to much time here especialy at work.. today it paid off.

  from my office window i watched the jw's pull up to the home across the street (third or fourth time ive seen them there).

  i wanted to shout at them, but dont want to get fired.

  me, my dad, my friends, heck everybody i know throws out a large bag of unused watchtowers and awakes every few months or at least once a year.

  This is just a precurser of what to expect in January when the Kool-Aid edition kicks in. They are preparing, IMO, the flock with this KM admonition not to look any further than just what the FDS/GB is telling them. Now when something comes out in the for-members-only issue that smells fishy, the admonition to just swallow it has already been put out there. Don't DARE research it or question it among yourselves. DO I TASTE KOOL-AID?

  well if i showed you where they acknowledged this in 1993, but as recent as 2001 they were still printing he was, would that not be valuable to you to show others the watchtowers deliberate deciept??

  I'm mad as hell (New Here)

  i'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.

  i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.

  i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.

  Welcome to this forum, Miss Bliss. Looking forward to hearing your stories. I was raised a JW and faded many years ago, but still have family in it. The real "truth" is an eye-opener, isn't it?!
