does anybody here feel nostalgic for old tv and cartoons.it seems that with time televsion has gone down hill.i rember cartoons of the 90's and i see what is on tv now and i just lose interest, does anybody feel like that at times?

I heard they were gonna be returning to one of the cartoon channels this fall, have yet to find them though.
And TVLand isn't what it used to be either, they need to return to their original format of strictly old black and white reruns, they feature two shows now in which the stars of those shows are also featured in my High School yearbook, so to me their shows these days aren't what I consider to be nostalgic enough.
we all know that many celebrities have jw influence in their religious backgrounds.
anybody know of any celebrities that openly critcize the wts concerning their beliefs or the negatives effects of the jw religion on their lives?.

otwo's b-day thread got me thinking about this strange jw loophole.. did anyone use the rationale of something being a "conscience matter" to do something that may not have been explicitly condemned in the scriptures or in the lit, or not confess something?.
i realize i did that for the acceptance of b-day discounts, holiday work bonuses, etc.
also for r rated movies, and going to bars.. i did during the last presidential election when i voted for the first time while still a believing jw.

Too numerous to count how many witnesses did that for the acceptance of birthday discounts and especially bonuses from their jobs and R rated movies.
i have to hand it to some of you!.
Somebody asked a similar question a week or more ago and my question was to those who still attend is the same as yours, a few answered back and said they do it because they know they will be cut off from family if they stop attending.
