this weekend i accompanied a few friends to a strip club in manhattan.
my wife doesn't like it too much, but since i promised her that a lap dance is asfar as i will go with a stripper, she tolorates it.. imagine my surprise when i noticed that an elder from my old congo was there along with several of his co-workers.. he tried to ignore me but before we left i stopped by his table and said hello.. he actually had the nerve to ask me if it was okay for us to speak.
i said since we were both in a strip club, it didn't matter.. my question - should i mention this to dubs i still maintain relationships with, who incidently worship the ground this elder walks on?.
A situation like that could be handled in as many ways as there are people who may encounter it.
It depends on the elder. If he were an ass, I'd rat him out in a heart beat. Revenge so to speak, otherwise I would not be judgemental. To each his own.

i have always said as men we down play our intuition, when we should rely on it more.

well today i realised it is all coming to an end.
ever since i was about 6 i have been attending meetings but for the past ?teen years have never been fully convinced of what i was being taught.
of course there are the talks which give you hope that you are doing the right thing but it only takes a few weeks for the feeling to wear off.

it talks about how this one sister was dying she wanted to be buried with a fork in her hand because when she was at these congo get togethers they would say to keep your fork because dessert is coming.

I wonder what/if the WTBTS would say to the person who changed the story if it could be traced back. I read the JW version, before clicking the paste, and thought that this was Idolic or memorializing the dead in a way the JW's don't approve of.
is how to have a bridal shower or a baby shower.. i have been to 3 showers since i've been out.
none of them had very many people in attendance.
that baby shower had 5 people in attendance 2 of which were hosting it.
My wife and I do call first, as for JW's I have nothing to offer on that.
