As for your daughter and the car, the car is replacable. As a parent I'm sure you were a good one. My son, who is 29, developed a gambling problem and was told by his wife this past week she want's a divorce because of it. I was never a gambler and I don't feel guilty in any way because he didn't learn it from me. Point is we do the best we can as a parent and our children often screw thing's up on their own.

I agree with ex-jw. When I was 16, I got a job part time and started paying rent to my parents. It was a small amount of money that contributed little to the home. But it was an education for the real world.
Life for a lot of people, including myself has had it's crashing moments. In time we come out of it better than we were before. I expect that to happen to me again soon and I am prepared to face it head on. I wont let it get me down.

I forgot this, when my father was an elder doing the Watchtower meeting, if no one raised their hand, he answered the question and moved on. He also made it a point on the Thursday night meeting to talk about answering questions during the Watchtower. I think it was a back up on some question's, he had answers underlined for me. Not all sections, but most.

There were two distinctive groups of young in my KH. They were the if'ees and the definitely not's like myself. The if'ees would never reveal their true feeling's about the Jdubs or speak badly about it and the people in it. (Turned out they were definitly not's.) We definitely not's had a name for people who always had their hand up and answered most often. We called them, Mr or Mrs super righteous. Sorry Crumpet, you would have been Miss super righteous.

That's a good one who are you. I remember wearing those clip on's until I was 18. My father was such a slave to his God, he never taught me anything but God. I finally learned how to do a real tie when I was 23, from my father in-law who was a better father to me than my real father.

Until then, I don't need people, especially people who don't care about the destruction they blindly cause living in tunnel vision, coming to my door preaching the bible.

I'm in the US and I don't have a postal problem.
I do have a problem with IE7. It s#%ks. My computer doesn't work like it used to. IE7 came with a new spyware program that caused my Norton Anti Virus program to fail, it wont work when there are two spyware programs in operation. Host of other problems as well.

Broken Heart
by jillbedford inmy almost 17 year old daughter left to stay with her dad last thursday.
this is the second time she has left due to my strict rules, like 10p school day curfue, get to school on time, keep your grades above a c. she has not kept to my rules, so as a consequence i told her this last wednesday night she has lost driving priviledges of the car i gave her on her 16th birthday.
she said she was leaving to live with her dad.

Your daughter will learn lesson's the hard way. She's 17 and by the time you can get any legal results, she may be 18. My children left home at the same time over ten years ago and they made out just fine. We have better relationships now.
As for your ex, you will be entitled to the back child support for only a short time, my advice is to stop being foolish and easy on him and go after it.
Your present marriage, it doesn't sound good.
