  "Commenting" at Meetings

  i don't quite understand why you call it commenting.. when i attended meeting the question at end were read.. when people "commented" it was never a real comment.. it was just reading back word for word a sentence or two from the paragraph that answered the question.. i would think "commentary" would be something you put in your own words and give a personal statement about it.. .

  why do you call it "comments" when it is more like reciting?.

  or is it different in other kh?.

  Am I being too sensitive?

  ok, this morning i was getting ready to take my 8yo to school, he normally walks with his older brother but his feet have been hurting him lately so he asked if i could drive him then he asks me if two neighbor girls can ride with us.

  i said yes and after a few minutes i asked my son why they needed a ride.

  he said because they didn't feel like walking.

  As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as "too sensitive". There are different degrees of sensitivity, it's not for anyone to say that we are not too much this or not enough that, we are all different and should be accepted as such.

  Will there be buildings and if so, what will they be like?

  I take it there will be no shops?

  Will you be lazing about on a desert Island all day like Robinson Crusoe?

  Kinjiro you are the one that bought up racial differences initially, and you are right it doesn't have much to do with it - I used it as an example as it seems it was something you could relate too.

  Taste and preferance is involved to a great degree. Taste and preferance determine what you find beautiful. And yes the same applies to food, but let's not complicate matters as the issue still stands.

  Leaving the Burmese population out of it why do two guys from the same country find one of two women but not the same one beautiful.

  Yes our taste and preferance determine what we find beautiful, but getting back to the original question - WHY?

  If woman 'A' is beautiful to me; WHY do you think she's ugly?

  Kinjiro - that is only partly true.

  If "Your surrounding/bringing up defines your concept of beauty" was totally true then two brothers would find the same women beautiful - and that is not always the case.

  And of course there are plenty of "mixed race" marriages to prove this.
