Your last post seemed a little more contrite or Christian if you prefer. I know why people stay in , their trapped by family and fear of loss of their being able to associate with them. Maybe I struck a chord with you tonight. You have to realize that many on this site have had their lives disrupted and very adversely affected by the WBTS. I hope I didn't say any thing on this post that offended you too much. I hope it will just make you think.

P.S. All who are reading this I think Cofty is a really smart and good guy

Splash it is an act of desperation. You seem so full of yourself at least to me. You give talks at assemblies baptize people using the convoluted reasoning all organizations are imperfect and were wrong on some things and so are the other churches. That's why I can't tell if your high up in the borg or just some simpleton looking for recognition, I don't think your going to gain much recognition or esteem on this board, I would never argue scripture or philosophy or any thing with you. I don't feel like throwing pearls in front of swine and neither should you.

DocHouse Most mainstream christian religions require a formal education of their leaders. I can see why if he is who he says he is, he must feel that he skipped the education part and somehow he's equal or superior to the other leaders of main stream christian religions today. That`s why it`s hard to tell weather he's just a snot nosed kid playing on Mommy and Daddy's computer or a member of the GB. They're both applicable.

what DO current Jws say at doors?

i mean, anyone with a real bible and half a brain doesn't need to log onto a website and read nonsense.. its not a bible study when you present someone a book or magazine to read along in.. its not the gospel, when its not about jesus.

so what is being pushed in the service meeting to be done at doors?.

and with what result expected?

The last witnesses at my door just left me a tract and said they were presenting them in the neighborhood they said and their free! It was just a couple of barely 20 something, sisters.

Christmas eve day I was sitting in my man cave downstairs and the doorbell rang and by the time I got upstairs there was nobody there, I then heard the automatic garage door open and and my wife drove her car in and she said there were a couple of older gentlemen here. What did they want ? I said I don't know they were gone pretty fast and there was a tract in the mail box.

The dubs around here don't know me btw.
