So 'Follow the Christ' likely means follow the annointed, which means follow the faithful and discreet slave, which really means follow the old farts the governing body at brooklyn.
I am going to stop procrastinating and finally learn to sleep with my eyes open so I can get through the next DC with (hopefully) some brain cells still in tact!

before the 1950s, "the Christ" referred to the "anointed class" (in fact, "the anointed" is used today in the same sense that "the Christ" used to be, and "Christ" literally means "anointed").

Lilly I agree with you. I really don't know what direction they plan on going with the 07' DC but as you said "this developement could prove to be very interesting".

I am so sorry for the confusion I have caused. I am not the best at communicating clearly. I do not have a part on the DC (thank god). I recieved the Service Meeting Schedule in an e-mail today and I simply wanted to pass the info on. I didn't know if the 07' DCs theme had been posted yet so I thought would post it. Again I am sorry for the confusion.

It's in the US. It's going to be the week of Jan 1st 2007. I think it's one of those parts that supposed get you "pumped" up for the DC. I believe they will also announce where it wil be held. It's a 25 min. part on the service meeting.

ok...please bare with me; i'm trying to get my thought out through a headache...lol.
what kind of chance do you think you have with god?...meaning that if the 'meekest man' on earth pissed god off, (and i still don't really know why) so that god punished him with death before they entered the 'promised land', something that moses waited over 40 years for, what chance do you think you have?.
i mean think of it....here's moses living his whole life around god (closer than anyone today) and god punished him...(btw...who can tell me what horrible crime he did anyway?).
If the god of the bible is real and if he will judge me one day. Then I have about a snowballs chance in hell of being approved by him.
