everytime i see a dub, i know on the shortlist of subjects they wanna bring up will be coming back to the kingdom hall.. i saw two dubs in the supermarket who knew about megan my girlfriend being pregnant, and they felt it was their place to tell me my responsibilities.
apparently the best place for my unborn son/daughter is the kingdom hall.. wtf does it have to do with them???.
i know for a fact that if i ever left my future son/daughter with my mum for the night she would be taking it to meetings if i let her ,so that immediately is off the cards.. dont you just wish dubs would hop it?.

And,I agree with your thinking....I would rather my mom never see my baby (Megan....by the way:)) than her getting to try to brainwash her.

No....not me, or myhusband. We have always agreed that if either of us cheat....it is over because neither of us would be the type that could trust the cheater ever again. We got married at ages 31 and 34...and we knew darn well what we were getting into and what we each expect from one another.....so, in my case...no way.
first news is that we are going to be moving to nc from tx in the next couple months....we are so happy about that!
hubby grew up there, and we have his family there.
hubby got a new job with in his company, so he will be learning new things and meeting new people....a good change for him.. and the biggest....we are likely to get full custody of his 3 and 5 year old girls...and move them with us.
Thanks everyone....We have been waiting for all these things to start happening for over a year now, so it feels surreal that they actually ARE! We have 2 months till we go back to court...so we will not be going anywhere till then.
For the next 2 months, we have to call the ex every night and record her. Last night my hubby called...and she answered.."Hello..." and he said..."This is Buddy...can I talk to the girls?" She smugly said "Uhhh....Nope" and hung up. So he called back and again said "Can I talk to the girls?" And she didn't say anything, just hung up...then he called and got the machine and started saying .."This is Daddy, girls, I love you..." and she turned the machine off in the middle of it. She has told my hubby the girls think he is dead and "God" told her he was going to die soon. She is weird....and, I won't feel bad taking the girls from her.....She has done this to herself. Plus, we will be agreeable and flexable with her being able to see them.

(His ex has not let us see them for over a year, and we just now have enough money to take her back to court, and his lawyer says he will likely get them) I will go from one baby full time, to three!! But, I love em to death!

Good point. I hate to say it...however if my JW mother who shuns me ever needs my support finacially....I wouldn't do it. I guess I would rather willfully disobey since the shunning hurts so much. I am BAD.

i was talking to a pioneer yesterday; he was all excited over the new memorial tract, said how nice it looked.
he commented that the "society said we don't have to take not-at-homes for this campaign.".
i asked him what he thought of the campaigns and the fact that we have a convention campaign coming up soon.

hi--3 times this weekend 2 elders came to my door asking for me by name (my kids answered the door).
apparently my jw sister notified the elders about the letter she received from me several months ago and gave them my new address.
my letter was very clear about how i felt about the watchtower society and i have not stepped foot in a kingdom hall in about 15 years, and the last 8 years of that was sporadic at best.. why should i talk to people i did not invite to my home, when i know they are coming to condemn me?
Maybe it is an oppertunity for you to show them a few things.....Like you know the things going on in the BORG....The changes being made, ect...and the realization that there is no way they have God's backing. Since you have nothing to lose......maybe you have something to gain. (Helping cult members...plant a seed) :)
told jakes mom i am not going over there for a while and i need a little time off for me.. a lot of feces hit the oscilator so what i need is to take care of me for awhile.. no cooking or cleaning for them for a while.. a lot of anger at me now so how do i tell them to f$$cj off?.

Sometimes relationships are toxic for you to be in....PERIOD. You don't have to nurture them. This is how I feel about my step-dad. I will occasionaly talk to him.....but I don't put myself out there anymore. You don't have to make excuses or apologize. It is the way it is, and it is your right to avoid them...and you don't even have to tell them that that is what you are doing....just do it.
